“Who the hell are you?”

I shrug,

“A student who would do anything for good grades. Right now you are in the way of my good grades.”

She scoffed, I wiggle my phone in her face.

“We continue this later Vaughn darling.”

She says before stomping away.

My shoulders sag in relief and I let out a sigh.

“I’m surprised that worked.”

“You came.”

I spin to get a look at him. He looked so relieved he could collapse.

“Of course I did. I somehow put you in a difficult position. Who else will fix my mistake?”

“Huh?”

“Never mind. Let’s leave before she gets back.”

I lead the way to the car park. When I remember that Jessica and i used an uber here, my car would have been a better way to hide.

“Well, this is research week, I see no reason to sneak around when we can make use of this opportunity.”

A small smile touches his lips.

“I was thinking the same thing.” He stretches out his hand for me to take, I move to take it, catching myself before it was too late.
