LUCA’S POV
The atmosphere in this office has never been this tensed, everyone is trying so hard not to say the wrong thing and the meeting hasn’t even started.
Kelly and Aria stood behind Mrs. Marilyn and I respectively but Emberlynn insisted they got small chairs to sit, that the meeting will be a long one, so they had both gone to get chairs while Emb looked through some files.it will be stupid to deny that the office looked good on her, she was a boss, something I didn’t recognize before now, but it was true that getting this from her again was going to be tricky.
Not only did she enjoy it, she didn’t trust me, I felt it from her right from the hospital and now it was like she was clearing up my people, so the only other option is that I hired the wrong people which still falls back on me.
