James woke up because of Laura, since she couldn’t stay still in his arms. He didn’t open his eyes, but waited to see what she was up to. He felt her leave butterfly kisses on his neck while mumbling about how he was a heavy sleeper.

“I should have worked harder to leave more marks on him,” Laura said under her breath as she looked at how clear his skin was despite their mischief last night. She licked her lips and, rather than the butterfly kisses from before, she sucked on the skin at the side of his neck, deliberately leaving a red mark there.

Seeing that James still didn’t wake up, she got more daring and moved a bit higher, and did the same right at the area below his jaw. He was already holding her, so all she had to do was shift her position slightly so she was partially on top of him. James became amused because of how audacious she had become just because she thought he was sleeping.
