14. Teasing Game

Cassie wakes up like a princess.

She stretches her limbs as smiling, then energetically jumps out of her bed. She chooses what she will wear for work today. Then heads to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

She is singing with happiness, completes her light makeup and turns back to her room again. Brushing her long hair, she gathers it into a ponytail. She wears a cute sundress and sprays her vanilla scent perfume. Smiling, she winks at her reflection in the pier glass. Then grabs her purse and goes downstairs while bouncing down the steps.

Before she reaches the kitchen, someone suddenly grabs her waist from behind and hugs her so tight.

“Dad!” She giggles against her father’s affection. He does this every morning before she leaves home.

“Morning, princess.” He says and kisses her cheek a few times.

“I will be late.” She pushes him while smiling and grabs an apple from the kitchen island. This is her second week at her new work place, L’etoile Pastry.
