15. L’etoile Pastry

After twenty minutes of riding, Cassie reaches her lovely workplace. The pastry is designed with golden and pink tones, just like her room at home. It makes her like the place quickly, other than the unique experience it promises for her future career.

After entering the main area, she sees young intern Ellie putting canistrelli cookies in the showcase. However, it was Cassie’s task for today. She doesn’t understand why the French girl is doing this instead of being busy with the croissants.

Maybe the chef made some changes in the schedule, so she can ask him instead of scowling the poor intern.
