Alarmed, she bit the hand that covered her mouth and in a swirl motion, she pushed him hard to the ground which made him fall on his stomach.
“You better stay away from me!” She shrieked like a kid yelling at her younger brother.
“Who the f*ck are you? Why are you following me around?” She was freaked out seeing him everywhere she goes.
“First you were at the library.” She panted heavily.
“And you were at the boat and repeating the same nonsense you were saying.” Her eyes threw a dragger at him.
“And now— you murderous bastard came to kill me, huh?” She aimed her camera at his bald head.
“Girl—” He groaned in pain. If any ordinary man fall on the ground with his stomach wouldn’t have hurt himself so badly, but being thrice her size, his stomach content literally went to his heart’s chambers and he is trying to steady his breath.
“I am here to help you. Trust me. You are in danger. ”He curled his knees upwards to soothe his aching stomach.
“Why are you adamant like your father?” He scolded her with pain clinging in his voice.
“Father?” She looked at him blankly.
Various types of emotions fogged her mind but his another word snatched her to reality.
“I’m your father’s friend Gasper Alex. Ten years ago, he too neglected the warning I had given to him and has gone forever.” He sat on the ground and clapped his hands to clean his muddy hands.
“You— you—” She gulped down unable to find any words.
“We were best friends. He used to say he wanted to go to Newmen Island. I don’t know what is there but—” he gestured for her to give him some water.
Immediately she opened her back bag and gave him her water bottle. Like a camel quenching its thirst, he drank the water in one breath.
“But one day I got the envelope from him. That was the photo of a wolf jumping in the air.” A Bead of confusion overlapped her veins, and for that, the vein in her forehead showed up.
“You mean—” She zipped open her bag and was about to show him, he stopped her by gesturing his hand.
“Yeah! The same photo you have that is also given to you by that professor Hahn whom you adore your idle.” His eyes held pure hate.
“He is lying to the world that he took the photo but the truth is your father captured it.”
She kneeled beside him and searched for any lie laying in his voice but he was sincere, that was crystal clear in his eyes.
“Along with the photo he had written it’s— it’s not an ordinary wolf. It’s a man.”
“What?” She narrowed his eyes at him.
Why is she listening to him? There is no proof that he is saying the truth.
He must be an enemy of Professor Hahn.
“Here just read it.” He gave her a torn envelope.
Very curious, she opened it and her eyes filled with a river of tears.
It was her father’s handwriting.
“Dude, I’m trapped here. Here many humans are shifting into wolves and back to humans. Soon I will find a way to escape from this misery land. Say to my daughter that I love her so much.” Hot tears rolled down her eyes.
“Now listen. Don’t go there.” He stood on his feet.
After a few minutes of silence, she said: “I was going there to take pictures but now my only motto is to find my father.” She wiped her tears.
“Shitt!” He cursed loudly.
“Are you nut? You may get killed!” He shouted at her.
“It’s the journey between life and death.” With that being said she turned her heels to walk inside the islands, neglecting the shouting of him to come back.
Through her journey inside the scary forest, she felt she is being watched by someone but whenever she turns back there is no one.
“I’m not hallucinating.” She wiped the tears that unwillingly flowing down her cheeks since she came to know about her dad and Professor Hahn’s betrayal.
For once she wished it would be great if Pro. Hahn hasn’t turned his back on her dad.
Sighing heavily, with lots of questions she somehow found the building that looked like a castle just in front of the river.
The castle looked very old as if no one is living here. She wanted to explore the place even though her inner self is trembling with fear.
The uneasy feeling she has since she came to the islands didn’t leave her for once.
“I’m courageous enough to bring justice behind my dad—” She gulped down as of thinking there is a mere chance of the survival of her dad.
Like a cat entering the kitchen, she carefully took her every step and opened the wooden door of the castle.
To her surprise, it was opened in one push and there is no trace of any dust as if someone cleaned it just a while ago.
With a thundering heart, she entered and walked wherever her legs carrying her.
It’s like a cross-shaped castle and the artwork on the wall is mesmerizing. If she is here to take photos as her plan, she would have taken some photos by now but the Valley of her track changed a moment ago, so she didn’t touch her latest version of Canon EOS 90D Digital SLR camera.
When she came to halt between left and right she turned left and to her uttermost surprise, she saw a girl walking around holding a tray in her hand.
She was able to see a set of glasses but couldn’t figure out what was inside.
It might be apple juice. She thought to herself.
After the debate of whether to follow her or not, she followed her until she opened the door of a room.
She tried to open the room but her tries went in vain.
Shit!
Very frustrated, she leaned on the wall, and with a cling sound, the wall just beside the door opened that left her wide eyes.
That’s it!
That’s it!
Something is here!
She entered inside and walked further through the narrow path until she found the door in front of her.
There are no other chambers unless this straight path so with a heavy sigh, she turned the door knob to open.
Thankfully it opened without making any noises and she was very glad than ever.
She didn’t think for once that what will happen if they find out a girl trespassed on their castle.
Will she be punished?
Will they sue her?
Will they kill her?
Or will she have the fate of her father?
Whatever…
She stepped forward and to her uttermost shock, she happened to see a bunch of wolves bowing down Infront of a huge wolf, which is thrice their size, and is no doubt, it was the one she saw in the photo.
A grey fur with a white line on the neck.
Her father had been here, no doubt if those photos were taken by him.
“There are so many wolves!” Her heart pounded heavily against her rib cage.
“The owner of them might be a psycho killer which shows on TV.” She mumbled.
“It’s better to leave the place.” All her courage vanished in thin air.
Without making noise, with a heavy heart, slightly shivering hands and legs, she was about to leave the place but when a wolf among a thousand wolves, shifted into a human form, she lost her balance as her legs gave up on her and she fell inside the huge hall.
The door she was standing on was shut closed with a loud thud.
Everyone’s attention turned on her and a fear of scream escaped from her mouth when in a swirl motion the wolves encircled her as if they are going to have their feast.
Some even let their saliva out.
“Leave!” A roaring sound made them step aside and a huge wolf sitting on the wooden chair concealed her small frame with his huge body.
“She is mine.” Possessively, He snuggled his nose on her neck where his mark would lay in the future and inhaled her sweet strawberry smell to quench the desire of marking her right now.
In a blink of an eye, even before she came to her sense, he shifted back to his human form.
Her eyes were wide with surprise and pure horror drilled through her already pounding heart.
A human wolf?
“I’m not dreaming, am I?” Her eyes rolled upwards before she fell on the Alpha’s welcoming hand.
Alpha Addison carried her in his arms and inhaled her smell to soothe his burning desire to have her. Her smell is divine, and he savours it forever. Her brown wavy hair dangled in the air and some lock fell on her face, which added excess beauty to his beautiful mate.He can draw a picture of him and his family on her forehead as it was plain white, with no trace of dirt. Her eyebrows are like a rainbow. Her cheeks are like plums to his eyes as he wishes to have a taste of them. Her nose is perfect like hers. Her plumb lips are like hives, from where he could get his honey every day.“My beautiful mate,” he whispered while carrying her in his arms. His destination was to his room where she belonged to. He started to dream of having children with her and a smile arose in the corner of his lips. “Alpha.” Many wolves bowed down but all his attention was on his mate. Needless to say, He was very keen to find his mate and even travelled to many packs but unfortunately he didn’t find he
The wind hit her face mercilessly, her legs gave up on her and pleading her to stop but being a thick head she is not going to care about her wounded legs, nor she has a choice to care for any except her dear life. Hot breath tanned her skin even more uglier than the dust around her. Bead of droplets drenched the white t-shirt she was wearing. Her jeans ripped open when she fell on the rough silt and gravel pierced her knees. “That’s it. That’s it.” Her inner self was beaming with happiness even after her body was going through some distress. Her cat eyes were focused on the car that was parked on the empty road and she has increasing hope of escaping from the stupid wolf. But to her dismay, as she was engulfed with the thought of escape, she didn’t notice there was a cliff she was running to. “Ahhh!!” she was flown in the air. Her lungs gave up on her, her eyes shut tightly, her face turned pale like a ghost. She doubts if they get any bone to bury for her funeral. But like,
“You okay!” He whispered, his heartbeat started to accelerate like he has run a million kilometers in one breath when she didn’t respond to his voice. Her body felt numb above his chest. “Hey!” once again he called her smoothly not wanting to scare her away. All his anger withered just in the thin air and was replaced by pure dread and concern when he spotted blood on her forehead. Hugging her body tightly, he placed her on the muddy ground and looked at her body for further damage. She has bruised foot that was sure of the gift of running barefoot, and a cut mark on her right forearm that looked like something from the trees might have scratched her. Other than that, she has no wounds or bruises. “You will be all right.” He drew her pale body to his chest and inhaled his smell to soothe his wolves. “Don’t be a butt. Bring our mate home.” Lopez growled in anger, he was restless as well as scared. This is the first time this huge wolf tastes the loss of fear. Arguing with him i
After an hour of passing out, she slowly opened her eyelids just to meet the black empty wall in front of her.“Where I am?” she looked around and tried to get up but something behind her glued her to the place. He tied her with the pillar. The rope was like an iron rod, no one can break it easily.Cursing her fate, she looked at her surroundings and facepalmed. At least Addison treated her like a Queen but he is treating her like trash. But who he is?Why do they have similarities? What are they?Is he a vampire or a wolf?Lots of questions rummaged through her brain mercilessly. Now what he is going to do with her? Will he mark her and mate with her?The thought sent a chill down her spine.“I haven’t thought for once that my brother will be a fool.” A deep masculine voice made her cringe with anxiety.“A beautiful mate like you should bear our marks.” He then eyed her neck where his mark would lay forever.“He still has this soft side.” He smirked, shaking his head.“I was going to
Five hours later,He and his team encircled the hut. He was happy that he could able to smell her mate.Somehow it is fading in the air.“What would be happened to her?” he started to worry. His brother is not an easy person to go easy on anyone. And without wasting another second, he lunged inside and saw his mate lying on the ground, she is gasping for air.Besides, his brother Aiden was stroking her in an to attempt of waking her up. He saw sadness in his eyes but he wonders does he have any.“What did you do?” he snarled like a wounded animal.“Let her go. She is mine!” he growled in anger. He didn’t like when Aiden held her in his arms.“Stop there.” Aiden threw a murderous glare toward his brother.Meanwhile, she choked hard that she even coughed blood.Four grey eyes widen in dread and Addison took a step forward to get a glimpse of his mate.“What did you feed her? She is a human, you dog?” He asked in alarm.“Watch that mouth of yours.” Leon, his wolf warned in his scary voic
Green grass across the river danced joyfully through the air and the leaf on the trees jigged with the air the way it flows here and there. The heavy winds created music more like a drum mixed with a flute. The running water from the fall made it a perfect rhythm as they all are welcoming their new Alpha.Aiden felt home. After a decade he was back to his home. He never thought he missed his pack until now.For all this while, he only saw the rare animals in the forest, other than no wolves or humans crossed his path. Now seeing the scenery made his mind fresh as a tender coconut. He looked at the coconut tree beside the river and heaved a happy sigh. He planted that tree when he was ten and now it has grown like him.Big and profitable. He was very keen to climb on the tree and make everyone fun but he realized he is not a teenager.Needless to say, he spent his teen alone in the empty forest. No one accompanied him. It’s because of his wrecked behavior. He loves to see fear in every
When Alpha Blaine Brown found his mate Ibel Jones he tied the knot with her the next day. The pack members are happy and delighted to have a Luna like her.Ibel was kind and brave enough to stand for her pack members and even if she needs to point out the Alpha’s mistake, she won’t hesitate to do.Her demeanour drew the heart of everyone towards her and Alpha Blaine is not an exception. He adores her every day as possible and loved her more than he could love anyone. As time went by moon goddess blessed them with the twins. They are identical. The first baby who has brown hair, they named Aiden Brown and the second baby who has black hair they named Addison Brown.Ibel promised herself that she would raise the baby very decent enough to give respect to others, show mercy, brilliant enough to handle the situation. And she fulfilled her promise. Both the kids were grown up like mature men. They had control over their wolves which was taught to Addison by Aiden and they take decisions
Alpha?” The pack doctor bowed his head somehow which snatched him back to reality. He was blinking his eyes several times to make sure whether he is standing in the present time or his memory took him back somewhere he had a great relationship with his brother. He loved his brother like his own soul. And now--- He hated him from the deep of his soul. Everything changed for bad. Aiden was not an exception. “Yes, John.” Addison asked him, his voice has no spirit. “Alpha—He—he wants the witch to be there for his ceremony.” John said in a panicked tone, his hand shaking visibly. She is uncontrollable. Her power is nothing but enough to kill the whole pack. They were very fortunate that Addison imprisoned her with the magic rod that was given by Aiden to him when they were learning magic. Hearing his words, Addison’s hand formed a tight fist and he wished for once how grateful it would be if he gets the chance to direct a punch at his pretty face. “Grand his wish.” He said whi
