Jason and Emily sat in the sterile waiting room, their anxiety palpable as they waited for news about their son, Liam. Emily clutched Jason’s hand tightly, her eyes fixed on the door through which the doctor would emerge.

After what felt like an eternity, the door finally opened, and a weary-looking doctor stepped into the room. Jason and Emily rose to their feet, their hearts pounding in anticipation.

“Liam’s parents, I suppose?” the doctor asked, his voice gentle but serious.

“Yes, that’s us,” Emily replied, her voice trembling with worry.

The doctor gave them a reassuring smile before delivering his news. “I’ve examined Liam, and it appears that his seizure was not as serious as we initially feared. There’s no evidence of any underlying conditions. However, we would like to keep him here overnight for observation, just to be safe.”
