We were all seated in the large drawing-room of Magdalene’s home. It was just several members of the coven. Clearly, it wasn’t an open event, a large screen had been connected to the heads of the coven in Salem. Three elders were sitting there, each one emotionless, yet you could tell they were not pleased. Magdalene had already filled them in on everything before we had even entered.
When we had come in, we had taken our seats. Raihana was sitting next to Chris, and although I had no idea what went down between the two that night of the barbeque, one thing I was sure of, something had happened. There was an understanding between them, yet at the same time, I saw the fact that they wanted one another, but clearly weren’t going for that.
