85. Part Of Something Special

The evening was going by nicely, Alpha Amir even asked me to dance, and although I was terrified, I did ok. All the while, he kept the conversation going about random topics; from the weather to Rayhan growing up to remembering Maria’s initiation into the pack.
Everyone congratulated me, and to my surprise, there was an entire table laden with gifts from everyone who had visited set to the side too.
I was now sitting with Rayhan, Lola, Rose, Chris and Raihana. We had just finished eating and soon I would be initiated into the pack. I was nervous and a little scared too. This was it.
"Delsanra, could I have a word?"
I looked up to see Luna Scarlett, Kiara’s gorgeous mom. My heart clenched when, for a moment, she reminded me of my own mother…
"Sure." I said, getting up, blushing when Rayhan trailed his hand down my thigh.
