"I know what you are thinking, Victor. But I don't think that's what happened. Why don't you go check her house, while I search around the area," Frederick suggested.

Without waiting to be told twice, Victor raced into the house and brought his car key then entered the car and sped out.

"Please, be safe, Hailey," Victor kept muttering as he drove to Hailey's house. His grip on the steering wheel was so tight that the steering wheel could break, his brows were creased. Finally getting to Hailey's home, Victor felt his head ache on seeing that the lights were turned off.

"Maybe she has gone to bed," He consoled himself. But deep down, he knew Hailey might not be home. Since he knew the password, he unlocked the door and entered. He slowly made his way to Hailey's bedroom, as there was no sign of her in the living room. Getting to the bedroom, he turned on the light, an empty room stared back at him, the bed was properly made, showing that no one had slept
