She is gone

"See, I told you coming to a hospital is not necessary," Hailey said, rolling her eyes.

They had come to the hospital and the doctor had confirmed that she was okay, her limping was as a result of a sprain. She was given some drugs to help fasten the healing of her wounds.

"It's better that the doctor confirmed it himself. If not, I would be restless." Frederick caressed her hair.

"Stop it, Fred. I'm not a kid," Hailey said and hit his hand off her head.

"It's okay, baby," Victor chipped in and gently caressed her hair. Hailey leaned in to his touch.

"Remind me not to show you my concern again," Frederick scoffed.

"You can touch my head, Daddy." Tina pulled his hand and placed it on her head.

"My hair is softer, fuller and silkier than Aunt Hailey's. So touch mine."

Frederick smiled lovingly at her.

"Of course baby."

"Fred, can you bring Tina out for a while? I want to get her some Australian dresses," Rosaline said from the door, where she stood watching them.
