The girl trembled as she stepped inside the elevator and tears rolled down from her eyes. “Just do your job.. just do your job. Remember, you have to pay for college. You no longer have a rich father to support you. He is in jail. You can do this.” The girl murmured as she wiped away her tears.

She took a deep breath heading towards the kitchen. “I can do this. Just a matter of few hours. It is not like he is going to visit here everyday.” She whispered and walked towards the manager.

“In next 5 minutes, they all are coming back to the restaurant. You have to serve the main course and be there as the head waitress. There will be other waiters to help you, but as per Ethan sir’s orders, you should be in the lead.” The manager smiled looking at Hazel, thinking that she was actually very impressive at her job. Little did anyone know about Ethan’s real intentions.

“Yes sir.” The girl nodded her head obediently and all the other waiters were now standing behind her and they all started to walk towards the restaurant.

The girl stood in the front, near the pile of plates, with a big fake smile on her face. She had to hand over the plates and explain all the delicacies that were being served. She looked nervously at almost 50 dishes, trying to remember there names.

Soon the main door of the restaurant opened and Ethan entered the room, along with several other men. He was happily talking to an elderly man, thanking him for the successful merger and he instantly halted looking at Hazel and smirked looking at her, giving her a sly look.

“Welcome everyone. Today we have several delicacies placed in front of you…..” Hazel herself started to hand over the plates to each one and as soon as she handed over a plate to Ethan, he again placed his hands on her hand, refusing to let her go.

“Meet me behind the buffet counter in two minutes.” He whispered coming close to her ear and was about to walk away.

“No, I will not.” She whispered back and smiled looking at another man handing over the plate to him.

“Really!? Let us see about that.” The man was now served with several kinds of salads by another waiter, while his gaze was constantly fixed on Hazel.

He started to eat his salad and then begin to walk towards the edge of the buffet counter, which had a long marbled partition.

“Crash!”

“Oh man.” Ethan had dropped his plate and had spilled the salad on his pants. Everyone turned to look at him and he looked helplessly at Hazel. “Can you please help me Miss Hazel. I am a bit of a mess here.” The man stood near the partition and the manager instantly nodded the girl, signaling her to help the man.

“Sure sir.” She sighed and started to walk towards the other corner of the room, while everyone was now being served with food.

Hazel took a few napkins and handed over one to the man. She bent a little behind the partition, and was about to pick up the shattered glass when suddenly a strong arm pulled her behind the wall.

“What!?” The girl gasped in much shock and Ethan held both her hands with his one hand, behind her back. His other hand was around her tiny waist and he pulled her closer to his body, looking at her pretty face. “You are the most gorgeous woman, I have ever seen.”

The girl was trying her best to set herself free and before she realized Ethan planted his lips on her lips and started to suck them hard. The girl was barely able to move and she felt a deep and passionate kiss on her lips. He kissed her for several seconds and then instantly released her hands, smirking looking at her.

The girl was left shell shocked as Ethan wiped away his lips, removing the pink glossy stain. “Hmm… I like the strawberry flavor. See you around.” He winked and walked away, leaving the girl behind.

“I don’t believe this! Who does he think he is!” The girl clenched her hands together and stormed towards the buffet counter, where now at least 50 people, including the staff members were standing.

She walked towards the suited man and halted behind him. She patted his shoulder and Ethan turned to look at Hazel, whose face was absolutely flushed. “Yes Hazel?”

“SLAP!!!”

Before the man could even register, Hazel had planted a tight slap on his cheek and the man’s eyes grew bigger in utter state of shock. There was pin drop silence all around as everyone looked at Hazel in much surprise.

“How da….” Ethan pointed his finger towards the girl but Hazel cut him off, literally screaming at him.

“How dare you kiss me!!! How dare you touch me without my permission! You shameless pervert!! You think, just because I am your employee, so you can take advantage of me? I am not just any damsel in distress and I hope this slap is clear enough to tell you that I am a black belt in karate! Another tight one will literally give you spondylitis for life!! I quit this job right now and I do not even need your fucking money. And you all…. Why are you even thinking of a merger with this idiot. He does not even know how to respect his employees!!!” She spoke in much courage and Ethan was literally taken aback as this was the first time a girl had slapped or even rejected his advances.

She threw off the napkins in her hand and stormed out of the room, heading straight towards the entrance of the hotel. Without even looking back the girl opened the glass door and walked on the long footpath, wiping away her tears. “You did the write thing. Don’t cry. You cannot lose your dignity at any cost even if you are poor now.”
