New journey

“Mother! Our worries are over. I got the contract and also a company house and car for us. We can now pay for the lawyer’s fees too.” The girl could feel a lump in her throat and the lady gasped in much shock.

“Oh my God!” Tears rolled down from her eyes and looked at her daughter in much pride. “I am so proud of you. You have worked really hard for all of us. I am sure your father will soon find justice.” The lady wiped away her daughter’s tears though she herself was crying.

“Yes. Now hurry up and we have to pack. We are moving out of this house today itself. Day after tomorrow, is my flight and I will be away for two months. You have to take care of yourself.” She looked in her mother’s eyes and the lady nodded her head happily, wiping away her tears.

“I promise. Now let’s pack.” The lady spoke in an enthusiastic tone and soon they both were already packing their luggage.

5:00 pm

“Ting tong!”

The door bell rang and the young boy, Quiver opened the door, looking at 5 men dressed in black and blue attires. “Yes?”

“Good afternoon sir. I am George, the new driver from the company and I am here to help you in shifting.” A man appeared from behind who was dressed in an all white formal attire.

“Oh yes. Please come in. My sister is waiting for you.”

3 Hours later….

The car entered a gated society, which had several mansions one after the other. The three of them looked at the splendid garden, tall fountains and a large auditorium. “This is our company’s official society where all our employees live. It has a shopping mall, recreational room, swimming pool, hospital and also a school. You will soon get your employee card, with which you and your family can avail discounts on every service.”

“This society is even prettier than our previous one.” Charla looked at the massive garden, where several kids were playing.

Soon the Honda car, halted outside a mansion and the driver stepped out, opening the car door for them.

“This is our house?” Hazel lifted her brows, looking at the house in much surprise.

“Yes Miss. Your luggage will be shifted instantly and you can go inside and explore the house. If you need me, I will be in the parking area.” He pointed towards a large parking area at the far end of the long road.

“Great! Thanks.” She turned around and saw Quiver holding Charla’s hand, rushing inside the gate already. They were followed by five men, who were holding large cartons in there hands.

Though the house was not very royal and huge like the one she lived since her childhood,  but it was extremely beautiful and well kept. The girl entered the gate and noticed a pool on her right side, along with a small garden. On the left was the garage to park the company car. She entered the wooden door and smiled looking at large lobby area, which had tall glass windows all around. There were two bedrooms on the first floor, while there was one bedroom on the first floor, along with a colossal terrace. The house had a small gymnasium, modular kitchen and a separate working area for the girl.

Soon it was decided that the girl will take the room upstairs, while Quiver and Charla will take the room downstairs. The girl had now already started to pack her bags, with the best dresses, footwears and cosmetics to look extremely presentable.

Charla and Quiver were now happily cooking a meal, while the boy was helping his sick mother in preparing the food. The rest of the two days, the girl worked day and night preparing several more ideas for the project.

Finally the day arrived and the girl bid a goodbye to her mother, feeling a sense of heaviness in her heart. “You have to take ample rest and George will be here all the time. Take your medicines on time and….”

“Relax sister. I will take care of mother. You go and work hard.” Quiver held her sister’s arm and they both hugged each other for a very long time.

Soon the girl was already sitting at the back seat of the car, while George was driving her to the airport. “So, will I be all alone on the entire plane?”

“No ma’am. There are few other employees who are joining you.” George halted outside the airport gate, handing over a plane ticket to the girl. “You have to go straight and then turn right to gate number 3. Miss Daisy the secretary of the CEO, shall assist you.”

“Thank you George. Goodbye.” The girl thanked him and followed the instructions. As soon as she reached gate number 3, she saw a blonde girl, busy applying lipstick on her lips, while looking at a small pocket mirror. She was dressed in a pink coloured skimpy dress, unsuitable for a formal job and had applied enough makeup on her face, trying to make it look sharp and chiselled. Though she was pretty and had a nice figure, but she was not as gorgeous as Hazel.

“Hello there, you must be Daisy. I am Hazel the interior designer.” Hazel held out her hand and Daisy instantly turned smiling a bit looking at Hazel.

“Hi Hazel.” Her smile grew wider, which seemed a little fake as the girl checked out Hazel from top to bottom in much envy. “Please follow me.”

Hazel nodded her head and frowned a bit, as she found Daisy to be a little strange. There were five more employees of the company and all of them boarded the plane, while Hazel was given the front most seat.

“Good evening. We will cover the distance in 6 hours and you all can now relax, while we shall serve you food after the take-off. Mr. CEO, will be meeting you all on the island itself. ” The airhostess smiled looking at all the 7 people in the medium sized plane and soon the plane took off.

The girl’s heart was racing rapidly, as she was now set on a new journey, which could be a turning point of her life.
