The contract

He smirked looking at the pretty girl in much longing. He was least bothered about her presentation and her ideas for his new house, but he kept ogling at her beautiful self. “Oh my! Why are you so gorgeous? You are so close to me and yet so far.”

Yet again he planted his hands on the glass wall, as the girl turned around, pointing her finger on the sheet, talking to the lady sitting in front of her.

The man picked up a remote control, and spoke softly while pressing a red button. “Alexa, remove the sound proof barrier.”

Just then Hazel was now fully audible to him and he had a wide smile on his face. Ethan did not know if it was lust, love or just his obsession for the girl but he simply wanted to possess her as his own.

“Such a sweet voice.” He smirked looking at her pretty lips, that had a hint of slight pink gloss on them. Ethan licked his own lips, looking at her luscious lips.

“So, basically, I want to retain the uniqueness and originality of this house, but at the same time give it all the modern facilities for the convenience of the owner. This tropical theme, will not just uplift the mood of the family members, but at the same time it will give a fresh look to the entire house. So, basically it will still stay a traditional house, making sure it does not lose its identity.” Hazel finally halted and smiled looking at the lady.

“Hmmm… beauty with brains. I must say, I actually like her idea.” Ethan picked up his cell phone, tying a message to the in charge sitting on front of Hazel.

The lady instantly picked up the phone, reading the message from the boss. “Alright, young lady, you have a message from our boss and he has seen the entire presentation.”

“What!? He has?” Hazel looked around trying to see any sort of camera or window. She looked at the lady nervously as she knew the verdict was going to be announced.

“He loves your ideas and feels you are oerfect for this job. We are ready to sign this contract with you right now. We shall pay you full amount as a token of appreciation and apart from that, you will be given free air tickets to the private plane and your stay in the island will be absolutely free. But the condition is that you have to board the plane day after tomorrow. Can that be arranged?” The lady read the message and then looked at Hazel smiling a little, waiting for her answer.  

“Yes! That is perfect!” Hazel’s eyes were shining bright and she could not believe that she had just received a contract of 1 million dollars.

“Great then. Please have a seat, while I shall go and get the contract for you.” The lady smiled getting up from her seat, buttoning up her coat. She then walked out of the room and Hazel clapped her hands together, thinking that nobody was really looking at her.

“Finally!!!” She jumped a little and folded her hands looking above in the sky. “Thank you God. This money will really help me to pay for the lawyers and also buy a new house.” She wiped away her tears, while Ethan looked at the girl carefully.

Somehow, looking at her tears, he felt a sharp pinch in his heart and he quickly picked up his phone, thinking carefully. The man could have given her thousands of her dollars within seconds, but he knew it would only make her suspicious. 

He quickly typed a message to the lady, who instantly made changes in the contract and then entered the room. “So, Miss Hazel, this is the contract which has all the details. One thing I forgot to mention that we have another building that needs its designing so we can also hire you as our designer on contract basis for 2 years. Along with the amount, you can have the perks that other employees get, like a residence, vehicle in our company’s houses along with a driver. You can have your private practice with other companies too side by side, if you give attention to this work.”

Hazel looked at the lady in much surprise and then read the contract. Apart from the 1 million dollar contract, the girl would be pain additional monthly 10,000 dollars for two years which was enough for her to live lavishly for two years. In the excitement she did not even read the head company details or the address, which was same as the previous company where she worked as a waitress. “I will sign it.”

The girl quickly picked up a pen and signed the contract wherever needed. Soon the girl was already transferred the amount and was also officially given the keys of the house, which was ready to be shifted. The company employees had been ordered to help the girl in shifting process, upon her special request and the girl finally stepped out of the company with a bug smile on her face. She was about to book a taxi, when instantly a brand new Honda halted next to her and a driver dressed in a while attire bowed, stepping out of the car. “Good afternoon Miss. I am George, your personal company driver from today.”

“Wow! So quick. Good evening George. Can you drop me to my house?” The girl smile could not control her smile looking at the brand new car.

Soon she was already sitting at the backseat of the car, and could not wait to announce the news to her mother and brother. After another 30 minutes, the car halted outside her house.

“I shall see you at 5 pm, with the transport service for shifting process. Would you like to see the house that company has finalized for you?”

“No… No. I fully trust them. I will straight away shift. Thanks George. See you.” The girl smiled and then rushed inside her house screaming loudly. “Mother!!! Mother!!!”

The lady who was busy cooking lunch for her kids, was a little taken aback and she turned around as the daughter hugged her instantly sobbing uncontrollably.
