"The guards around Lady Seraphine Vougeious were all killed," Kayden stated.
This 'Seraphine' was actually better than Seraphine thought. She actually killed all those guards by herself. Just thinking about how powerful she could potentially be made her scalp numb, and she shuddered.
This gave her more reasons as to why she couldn't expose her identity. This situation was too dangerous, and she didn't want to regret by making reckless decisions— not that she had much choices to make with the death almost arriving at her door.
Moreover, the difference between her and 'Seraphine' was great. Even if others thought that the changes created in her was due to puberty, those close to her wouldn't think so.
