Doubt

“Just what were you doing out of your room? In this state? Do you know how you nearly died!? Ah! You are making me frustrated! Seraphine, are you asking for a beating? Do you have a death wish!?” he yelled at her.

Seraphine’s emotions were a mess indeed. One second, she was hardly away from crying her tears out, and now she was holding in a laughter that was threatening to break out.

It was due to how her brother hadn’t changed slightly over the years. This brought back countless memories she was fond of, making her chest constrict painfully.

“I-well…”

Seraphine stuttered, not knowing what to say at this moment. Her mind was malfunctioning, and she was able to make anything out of the situation. What she wanted to do the most in his moment was to hug her brother.

But she was left wondering whether or not that would be her being too forward and making him feel uncomfortable as a
