Your Character Is Upsetting

Just like Anna had expected, her husband didn’t return home after getting discharged from the hospital. And she was a little bit wrong in her guess. She thought that Caspian would be away from home for at most two days and he would return and they might settle their differences. But no, her husband has been away for a good one week and three days without any word from him.

She’s tried calling him a few times. She called him and dropped text messages for the first five days but after she received no single reply, she decided to let him be.

She’s been alone at most times in the penthouse and each passing day since his absence was like a drop of acid, slowly eating away at Anna’s resolve.

“Good puppies eat quickly, I’m tired.” Anna rubbed the head of her puppy as she fed it peanuts from her palm. Pookie wiggled its tail and continued eating from her hand.

It was almost bedtime already and since she was too tired to feed the puppy real food, she decided to give it snacks.
