Mr Riordan At The Penthouse

Quickly composing herself, Feng adopted a smile and turned to Anna and Mrs. Riordan. She cleared her throat, reached out to Mrs Riordan to grab her palm in hers.

“Honey, I don’t know what came over me.” She said with a forced chuckle. “Gosh, I’ve been so stressed since our dinner together the other day and my headache has been getting worse. What was I thinking pulling a dress with your daughter-in-law? Forgive me, friend.”

Mrs Riordan stared down at her friend, confusion laced in her expression. It was as if she was looking at a different woman entirely. How could she change in just a span of two minutes? She’d looked like she would rather die than submit to her previously and now, she was asking for forgiveness?

Still, she sighed and nodded. “I understand, dear. It’s fine.”

“You do?”

“You must be going through menopause issues. It causes mood swings most of the time.”

“You’re right. I’ve been having a lot of mood swings for the past month. Hope you didn’t take it to heart.”
