Chapter 1

Sava's POV:

"Neri, where are you?" I was laughing all the time while watching my friends being scared because the sky is getting darker. It's almost 6PM.

"Drew! Did you bring my charger?" Lara shout at her older brother, carrying all of her things all alone.

"What will you do if ever I forgot it?" Drew asked back as he smirked on her sister.

"Guys! We're here!" Migs announced and everyone of us immediately climb at the tall field! 

And there! My jaw almost drop as I saw how beautiful the mansion is! Old yet beautiful! The gate on the front was just thin and some of it's tools was already rotten. But even that, we can't still deny how beautiful this mansion is!

"G-guys, Can I just go home a-already?" Nadj suddenly clinged on my shoulder as she hugged it tightly. 

I faced her and laughed at her face! "You crazy moron! I told you, we're not going to stay here forever. Just one night. One night Nadj. Relax." I laughed at her.

"Precisely. And even so, none of us will leave right now. Remember guys why are we here?" Miko asked us, I just shrugged and continue heading to the gate.

"Of course, for another extreme!" I heard Kair's voice while everyone is happy seeing the house where we can spend the night.

"Do you like it?" I almost jumped cause of startled when I heard Lea's voice. She was standing on my back.

I inhaled an air while trying to pursue my breath. "O—yeah. You just scared me."

"My bad." She quietly laughed tapping my shoulder. "My mother was from there and she was the one who recommend me about this mansion. I always wanted to go there, Sava." 

That's why she recommend it to us. At first, I don't have the thoughts of going there but my friends deal with it. Like I have a choice?

"I hope this aren’t bad," I don't want to sounded sarcastic but I still don't trust her. She's just a new recruit on our team. 

"Yes, I do hope so." She added.

I was smiling all along on our way here. I don't want to deny how beautiful this mansion is, but I suddenly paused for a bit when I remember something... 

"Where are those memories came from?" I whispered to myself. I always felt that but after remembering every memories, in a blink of eyes I already forgot it. 

But that's just a normal for me. I already told to my parent's about it, beat me. They didn't believed me.

"Oh, come on! Let's get inside." Miko touched my wrist and pulled me inside. But I stopped for a bit again when a memories opposed me! What was that for? 

"Why?" Miko asked me curiously while trying to check my forehead if I got some illness. 

"Don't mind me. It's just normal on me." I tried to smile and walk properly.

"You sure?" He was really sounded concern.

"Yes." 

Everyone put down the bag we're just carrying in the front of the mansion. The door was old but the beauty and uniqueness of style remains.

"Here's the key." Driana throwed the key on me.

"Where did you get that?" Deku's brows furrowed.

"Tss. You really did go there without a key, huh?" Driana replied, dodging the question.

"Okay, quiet." I intervened and already open the door!

"Woah..."

"Cool!"

"Are we really going to spend our night here? Wah! This feels like heaven..."

Everyone of my comrades where roaming around while still wondering at the mansion!

I can't believe this! The light was open and it's not rotten. There were no signs of broke, the whole mansion was clean! Now, I can't believe if this mansion is old or someone's just cleaning this.

But even there is someone cleaning the mansion, why the people in Basahk let us go there without a payment or even a warn? 

"I can't believe this..." Neri mouthed as she looked and full her eyes on the beautiful view of the mansion.

"I was expecting for a scary place where we could play spirit of the glass, and here. It was like I just brought myself into a living heaven on earth." Megs can't stop commenting while his foot continuously to look even better things!

"Guys! The CR is okay! The refrigerator, the rooms, and even the aircons! Don't you find it weird?" Kair commented while taking his foot downstairs.

"The mayor wants to secure this mansion and turn it into a private hotel." Driana explained.

"Okay, everything makes sense. But... why don't they even warned us? Is this mansion was just for free? A park? They even let us sleep there." Deku commented.

Everyone of them was roaming and I helped myself to go upstairs. Nah, I really wanted to relax. Our trip wasn't a joke.

I immediately opened the room when it wasn't locked and lied myself down! It gives me some chills. I turned on the aircon and find for some broom for cleaning matter.

"Yah! How relaxing this place is!" I exclaim and opened every window. I heard my friend's footsteps going to my direction. 

But I locked the door. I want to solo this room.

I was happily singing all the time while cleaning the room even thou it's already clean when something got my attention. 

"What's this locked small cabinet?" I whispered to myself and started walking close at the brown lying closet. 

But, wait. Why does it looks like a coffin? 

I immediately get the key on my bag to tried on it. Yes! It opened! But wait, yuck! 

I coughed for a bit as soon as the closet opened! I fastly get the broom and wiped every dust on it.

"Woah!" I exclaim as soon as I saw the golden Jar on it! "Let me see what's inside there—"

"Sava!"

"Woh!" I suddenly shouted when Lea called my name! She just startled me! Damn!

Wait, the Jar!

"What have you done?!" Lea suddenly went on my direction and tried to help me cleaning the broken Jar. What's this dust inside it?

I suddenly saw Driana on my peripheral vision, she was sitting on the bed while watching us. 

I turned my face again at the Broken Jar. I just broke it!

Everyone was minding their own business. While, I'm here in the kitchen trying to figure out who comes to the room first.

As I recalled it. I go to the room and locked the door because I want to solo it, yet. The locked was made of metal and not a doorknob! How can Lea or Driana opened it?

Lea was the one who called my name first and I didn't saw how Driana get in to the room. Nah, I don't want to called that weird. It's just a small pieces of puzzle problem.

I just shrugged it on my thought and already go inside. 

"Hey! Volume down, We can't hear there!" Lara warned our friends while they are dancing on the sofa and making some noises made of their sound box.

"We're just enjoying! Don't be kill joy!" Miko shouted back while making love with his girlfriend, Neri.

"Can I help you there?" I suggested while watching Nadj and Lara making the soup for our meal.

"Sure, please." Lara replied.

But in the middle of cooking, 5 seconds, someone's memory pop up on me again! I tried to punch my head in order to remember it, but I didn't make it! What's that?

"Hey, you crazy? Why are you smacking your head?" Nadj approached me and tried to check my head. I glanced at Lara and thankful, she didn't noticed me cause of the noises.

"No, it's okay. I just remember something that supposed to be not." I forced a smile. 

"You sure?" 

"Um, I'm used to it. Let's get back." I already leaved her before she could spit some concern word again. The gasoil there was not okay so I decided to make a fire outside the mansion.

The outside view is never been good, it's already dark and I can't see anything but except for the tall and weird mahogany. I immediately go inside as soon as the fire spread on the wood.

"Hey, ladies. How's the food?" Kair went on my face. I laughed at him and showed him what are we cooking.

"Kare-kare? How can you cooked that?" He asked.

"Ugh. Use your mind, I made a bonfire there." I pointed out the fire I just made.

"Okay. I'm hungry so I should help you." He smiled, I smiled back to him. 

But there I saw, I was about to put the noodles on the table when I suddenly met Lea's eyes! I swallowed the lump on my throat while trying to ignore her gaze.

Kair was her ex-boyfriend, by the way.

After a several of minutes! Our noodle was already cooked. Miko helped me to put it on a long table inside the mansion. I also want to refused him but I also can't do things all alone. Our friends already enjoying the party there.

"Okay! Guys. Now let's eat!" Deku alarmed.

"Oh, this is always good!" Everyone was happy talking to each other while, I'm still bothering. I don't know what's this bothering me but I really feel that something went wrong there.

"Oh, Where's Driana?" I asked Megs. He was with Driana recently. "Didn't she going to join us?"

"She just rest herself on the bathroom."

As we enjoy eating our meals, the time fastly runed and now, It's already 10PM at the eve. I help Nadj to clean the plates and even cleaned the mess that our friends made.

"Haven't you wondered?" I suddenly turned my face on Nadj when she suddenly talked. In our circle, she's always the most timorous and I bet she's just forcing her fear and trying to be normal here.

"About what?" I asked,

"Why is this old mansion still have electric while the gate was obviously rotten down." She curiously asked. I stopped for a bit and looked outside the window. It's already Evening and I only see peached black around the forest.

"Maybe Driana is right that the mayor intended to turn this mansion into a private hotel. But I also astonied why they don't warned us, they just let us passed and go there."

I sighed heavily.

We already done cleaning the kitchen, Nadj and I immediately locked every door and cover the window with curtains.

"I really wanted to go home already." Nadj mouthed while we're walking upstairs. I laughed at her.

"Relax. Tomorrow, I swear we'll be back safely. Unhurt." I still laughed at her.

"Ugh! Why do this stairs needed to be this long." She commented, I just shrugged.

We are in the middle of stairs when I suddenly heard a rustle, I stopped for a bit and looked downstairs.

"W-what?" Nadj suddenly clinged on my wrist again as soon as she saw my reaction. I fake a smile and continue walking.

When we already reached for the room, I immediately opened it. What the—

"Hey! Don't tell me you were going to sleep on the same room as girls?" My brows furrowed as I saw my male friends already lying on the floor.

They just laughed at me as if I told them something funnier.

"Oh, come on." Drew throw the pillow on Miko.

"It's just one night, relax Sava." Lara said while putting her headphone on his ears.

"Okay, guys. Let's just sleep."

I already put down my things, my watched and rings on my bag, everyone of them acted sleeping. I rolled my eyes and turn off the light—

But! What the heck!

I immediately turned on the light when I saw a shadow! Who is that?!

"H-hey, hey? Did you saw that?" I asked them pointing out the corner where I saw the male shadow! 

"Nah, you're imagining things! Go sleep and leave the light open."
