PREVIOUSLY ON HEAT VOL 2Jake was awake the entire night after putting Ashley to sleep. She clings to him trying to reassure herself that he wasn't going to leave, which broke Jake's heart. Dear readers, today is the 18th of January, 2023, and I'm sorry that it took me so long to submit this, but this book is at this moment on hold, it has been for a while now because honestly, I don't know where I'm heading with this story and just had to take a step back to see the bigger picture.
