Joseph gave Kimberly a blank stare. “Then…I guess this is goodbye.”

Kimberly giggled before getting off the car. She waved goodbye at him.

Joseph returned a smile and started the engine.

As Joseph drove away, Kimberly’s smile slowly faded away. Someone appeared behind her.

“Miss.” The man was in a full black suit. It was obvious he was a bodyguard.

The bodyguard had been following her around the entire night, but he had stayed in the shadows. Kimberly had also ordered him to stay out of sight, even when she was under attack.

Kimberly blinked mischievously. “Don’t I look cute and pure?”

The bodyguard remained silent.

Kimberly laughed and headed for the manor.
