Joseph took out his phone. It was a message from Kimberly.

It read, “Are you free today, Mr. Moore?”

Kimberly had been trying to meet up with Joseph during this period, but he turned her down every time since he was at Nammu Bay.

A weird feeling welled up inside Joseph as he stared at the message.

Why did he come to Nammu Bay?

He had left the bar alone that day. The woman did not appeal to him, and Kimberly was the only one he could think about. He realized he was in trouble and decided to book a plane ticket to Nammu Bay on a whim.

When Joseph saw Margot, his heart didn’t race like it usually would.

That pissed Joseph off. He felt like an asshole.

He liked Margot before. When did he have a change of heart?

Why?

His type should be women like Margot—seductive and charming.

But every time he looked at Margot, he could only think about Kimberly’s timid expression.

“Damn it!” he swore inwardly.

Joseph kept his phone. He didn’t want to reply to Kimberly.
