Chapter 896 Back at the Simmons Residence

Tamara gazed at the blooming flowers in the garden. They looked oddly similar to those at the Simmons residence. Tamara suspected these flowers were her mother’s favorite, and Old Mrs. Moore planted them to remember Alex.

But the old woman was losing more memory by the day. Would she also forget about Alex if her condition worsened?

Tamara was unsure of the answer and was afraid to know the truth.

“Tammy,” called out the man beside her.

Tamara snapped around and was met with Sebastian’s warm gaze.

Tamara smiled faintly and said, “I know we can’t cure her, but I also can’t bring myself to accept it.”

Sebastian pulled her into his arms. “This is just how things are. We will also walk in her footsteps when the time comes.”

Tamara breathed in the flowery aroma around them. She gradually calmed down as the low voice floated over her.

Sebastian’s words had worked somehow. Tamara found herself at peace again.

After a while, Joseph returned to them.

Tamara sprang up. “So?”
