Tamara was careful with her actions for fear of hurting Sebastian.

Sebastian observed Tamara’s nervousness and smirked devilishly, “This is nothing. You don’t have to get your knickers in a twist.”

Tamara pursed her lips and made no comment. She treated all his bruises before returning the first aid kit to Ms. Thompson.

Tamara turned to Sebastian with a stern look on her face. “Tell me the truth. What happened?”

Sebastian quirked a brow at how serious Tamara was acting. “You don’t believe me?”

Tamara signed, “How could I? You are Sebastian Lynch. You have bodyguards all around you. Not to mention, you’re a good fighter yourself, and you’re telling me this is just a scratch? You have never come home this late. Something must have happened.”

Tamara was confident of her gut feelings. Her uneasiness was too much for her to shake off simply.

Sebastian sighed and held her hands. He muttered, “What do you want me to say? That I got in a fight? I would lose my pride.”
