Benjamin's breath hitched.

Harris had already left the bedroom and closed the door behind him. He whispered to Margot, "I'll leave him to you tonight. Don't worry, Mr. Inkling isn't a petty man."

Margot nodded. "Okay."

Harris turned and left.

Margot stood with her hands behind her back. When she recalled Benjamin's actions, she couldn't help but giggle a little.

Margot checked the time and realized it was already 10:00 pm. He should be asleep by now.

She, however, went to the kitchen. She was going to cook some noodles.
