The scene was set in a pitch-black room. In a dim corner, Margot's eyes suddenly flung open. Sweat covered her face as she looked around in fear at the darkness before her.

She tried to stand up, but her body was aching all over.

Margot sucked in a cold breath as her body stumbled forward. She quickly reached out and steadied herself against the wall.

The place felt familiar to her.

Her memories were a bit muddled, with most of them revolving around Benjamin—especially the scene of his death, which had greatly impacted her.

Margot closed her eyes and took deep breaths, trying to calm herself down.
