Chapter 1416 What Were You Thinking?

Camilla returned to the Bass manor.

The manor was brightly lit. Jenna was anxiously pacing inside.

"Mom," Camilla called out as soon as she entered. Her eyes watered.

"Camilla!" Jenna lit up with joy when she saw Camilla. She scanned Camilla from head to toe, checking for injuries.

"Mom, I'm fine. I'm okay." Camilla quickly reassured her and hugged Jenna tightly.

"I'm glad you're fine." Jenna let out a sigh of relief. She turned to Jackie and noticed the dark look on his face. Nevertheless, Camilla was back. At least, they had one less problem now.

"Camilla, you should go upstairs and rest. We'll leave Clacton once you're fully rested," Jackie said.

Camilla nodded and suddenly remembered something. "Mom, Dad, let's bring Nathan along too. If not for him, I wouldn't have been able to escape."

"Of course," Jenna said, "We'll treat him as our own."
