However, the thought was quickly dismissed by Camilla.

She couldn't harm Jayden. She could never bring herself to do it.

Camilla closed her eyes and turned away. She decided to take a stroll in the courtyard.

The morning breeze was refreshing, and a faint mist surrounded them. It only began to disperse under the rays of sunlight.

Camilla took a deep breath and felt alive again.

Jayden finished his morning exercise and approached her. He looked at her pale face and reached out to touch her gently. But Camilla evaded his touch.

"I want to see Nathan," Camilla stated.

Jayden stared at her. "Let's have breakfast first."

Camilla remained silent.

The two returned to the manor. By the time Jayden was done with his shower, Camilla had finished her breakfast and was sitting in the living room.

Jayden glanced at her silently. After a simple breakfast, he sighed. "Let's go."
