Chapter 1103 Thomas's Feelings

"What brings you here, Thomas?" smiled Tamara.

Thomas looked up at his mother, "Why didn't you come down for dinner, Mommy?"

Tamara took his hand and brought him inside. She pulled him to the balcony and smiled warmly at him. "I'm sure this isn't why you came, right Thomas?"

Thomas tensed up. He couldn't bring himself to meet his mother's gaze. He muttered faintly, "I'm sorry, Mommy."

Tamara was surprised. "Why are you apologizing?"

Thomas lowered his gaze. "I was the one who said those mean things to the new kids, but I blamed it on Melly instead."

Tamara's breath hitched in her throat. Nonetheless, her smile remained fixed on her son. "Why did you do that?"

Thomas looked up and met his mother's gaze. He was still hesitant. "Mommy, I…"

Tamara gave his hand a light squeeze. She was patient and gentle with him. "Looks like little Thomas is growing up now. He is even keeping secrets from Mommy."
