My breath hitched as the cold metal pressed further into my numb skin.

“Don’t you want to move?” I heard a husky voice behind me.

“Who the hell are you?” I breathed out; a part of me wondered why I wasn’t afraid while the other part strived to push fear out of my body.

“Alright then, I am gonna pull the trigger and release this fucking bullet into your wretched body,” he voiced out.

The sound of his finger pressed against the trigger propelled me to obey his order and slip into my car.

He released a mocking laughter and slid into the driver’s seat then ignited the car.

As the car roared to life and began to roll away, I was tempted to ask about the whereabouts of my chauffeur.

“Where is my driver?” I asked, mustering up every bit of confidence in me.

After a long stretch of silence, he answered my question.

“The poor man took my place. It was unfortunate that he had to work for someone like you,” he chuckled.

I balled my fist, breathing out anger.
