So she walked over to the table, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
“Morning, mommy. Ethan said as she smiled at her.
"Morning son,” Carmen said as she stared at him and smiled.
Then she turned to Dax, but he kept his eyes focus on the food, but she still smiled at him and said, “Good morning,”
Although there was tension between them, when Dax lifted his head and saw Ethan staring at him, he gazed at Carmen and mumbled, “Morning.”
A few minutes after breakfast was over, Carmen was about to stand from her seat when Dax finally looked at her and said, “The driver will take Ethan to school. I will drive you to work.”
“But…” Carmen mumbled, pausing for a second as she stared at Ethan.
