"You are back," Dax mumbled when he lifted his head and their eyes met.

"Yeah," Carmen muttered with her gaze fixed on his.

Then she turned to leave, but she stopped and turned back and focused back on him.

With tears trailing down her face, Catherine sniffed and said, "It's not fair to Ethan or Liam! And it's sure isn't fair to me!"

Staring into her watery eyes, Dax ignored the tightness in his chest and asked, "What are you trying to say?"

As a writer, I don't write for myself, but you readers, and I realized that after ending the novel, you guys don't like the way I ended it. So I spoke with my editor, and I decided to go back to my notebook and write a bit longer and a better ending. To be honest, I didn't think that many people were interested in this novel since the reviews are not that many and encouraging to me as a writer, and I don't know how my readers feel about the storyline. As I said, I write for my readers, and if you guys don't leave a review, I don't know what you want or if you guys are actually interested in the novel. That's why I ended it so quickly. But because of you, "Jane." I am willing to go back to my notebook and brainstorm on a few more chapters that will fall in line with the story plot and give it a better ending. But It might take a bit of time though.
