The moment the first light of dawn colored the sky with a bleak golden glow, Terry was driving Carmen to work. 

He had the car at full speed because there weren't many vehicles on the road at such an early hour, where the darkness was just giving chance to the light.

Subconsciously, he kept eyeing Carmen through the V-mirror while wondering why she had him driving her to the office this early. But he couldn't come up with a reason, so he let go of his thoughts and concentrated on the road.

Carmen had noticed his stares, but she didn't pay it no mind. Instead, she laid her head against the window glass as she appreciated the breathtaking beauty of the sky.

However, she found it hard to do because sleep kept bugging her, and she could barely keep her eyes open. At that moment, Carmen regretted staying up late, thinking about whether she should move to another house and getting up early to avoid seeing Dax.
