Support system

As I stepped out of the building, I tried to hail a cab but they kept passing me like I wasn’t even there.

A particular cab sped along the road with his hornblaring and I stepped back quickly, to avoid being hit and instead, collided into a solid chest.

“I would recognize that blond mane anywhere.” The owner of the solid chest said smoothly.

“Adams? What are you doing here?” I asked, confused.

“I came to see a friend in the area, I though I should grab a snack around here and here we are. You look like you had a bad day, did the interview…”

I shook my head bleakly. Adams sighed and grabbed my hand. “Let’s get you some comfort food.”

“What do you know about comfort food?” I grunted but followed him.
