As it was decided, Sung Yoon was walking Tae Jin home. It was getting to six pm and the sun was already setting.

Doing its job.

On the road, there was no one except them and Tae Jin couldn't be anymore grateful for that.

He meant, it was never a good thing to walk around (Where people were) talking to ghosts.

................

People who can't see ghosts would look at him with judgemental eyes. Thinking of him as a weirdo or a creep.

It happened once and he will not let it happen again.

Sure he has never cared about what others says, but that one time, changed everything.

And now, he cares about others say more than anything in this world.

"Hey, so, do you still live around here?" Sung Yoon spoke to start a conversation.

It was pretty quiet and awkward and she did not like it.

And what she said brought Tae Jin's attention towards her.

"No" was all Tae Jin said and noticing the angry atmosphere after his reply, Sung Yoon felt awkward.

Did she just ask something personal?

And it looks like Tae Jin didn't want to talk about it either.

She should just change the topic.

"Ah, why, why did you ask about special ones when you already know about them? Or have you forgotten?, I told you about it that day" That day he revealed to her that he can see her. You guys remember right? When it was just the two of them in the living room and the five or six year old Tae Jin was asking about the whereabouts of his Hyung.

Please refer to chapter 16 (Heard Me) if you don't remember.

"No" Tae Jin sad with a smile before continuing, "I remember everything you told me. Just that........... I want hyung to tell me himself"

"Hmmm, well, I don't get why you want him to tell you himself but okay"

"I...... I want him to open up to me. I want to gain his trust " What the heck was this kid saying?

"He does trust you. He just don't want to see you in pain or hurt you. He cares about you"

Tae Jin knew that. He knew his hyung cared about him, yet, he still felt happy hearing it.

"So, what happened earlier.....what was that all about? Hyung looking so pale, fainting and...... He looked like he was having a good dream. The smile on his face while he was unconscious said it all" She guess this time, he had a good memory.

But, how come he entered this state once again? Could it be.......related to the Tae Jin's arrival? Cause since Tae Jin's sixth birthday, Hae Jin didn't experienced that 'episode' until now. (She said episode because that's what Hae Jin named it)

And all of a sudden, he experiences it once again, that too, on the very day Tae Jin comes back, right after seeing him.

........... Okay, it took sometime before he experienced another episode.

But!

What did all these mean?

What about the first time and the third time? Was it also related to Tae Jin. She didn't add the second time as well because then, Tae Jin wasn't there.

It was just her and Hae Jin, in the master bedroom. The master bedroom.......... Was it to be blame for the second time? Cause Hae Jin believe so. That's why he never entered that room since then.

"Can you tell me? Does it happen often? Also, is there a reason why you guys are still staying in that house?" Coming back, he thought it will be hard to find his hyung because he thought he has left. No longer living in that house.

Well, the worst was, he has crossed over. He didn't think he could bear it if Hae Jin crossed over without saying goodbye. Still, he decided to try his luck (Coming Back to the house) and he was glad Sung Yoon found him first.

"Ah, I don't think so. I can't tell you everything. You,...... Add these questions to the ones you have for him. You can only get the answers from him alone"

"Okay, fine" Guess she wasn't saying a word. She really was a nice ghost. Loyal to his Hyung........... He's glad his Hyung have such a friend on his side.

Tae Jin smiled, looking at her. Sung Yoon also looks the same as she was when he was a kid. Nothing has changed about her. Her hair was still dark-black, still slim. Her beautiful brown eyes......... She was still the same.

Still beautiful. Never aged, none of them (Hae Jin and Sung Yoon) he guess that was understandable. They were both dead and.......

"I must say, you have really grown into a fine young man. You're only 17 and you're this good look?" Sung Yoon said, drawing him out of his thoughts.

"Oh, thanks" he answered.

"Don't thank me yet, am not done. Let's just hope you don't ugly when you turn into an adult"

"I........This is why I never wanted to talk to you when I was a kid. You have a smart mouth"

"Oh, thanks, I hear that all the time"

"The worst kid if smart mouth"

"............... I don't want to insult you so let's drop this topic" Tae Jin smiled, shaking his head.

Sung Yoon was a fun person to talk to and he regretted not opening up to her at the very beginning. He believe it would have been nice if they (He, Sung Yoon and Hae Jin) all spent time together.

After Sung Yoon found out he can see not just her but other ghosts as well, he always spent time with her when he came over and it was just her (In the living room), but then, they couldn't even talk more or less than 30minutes because Hae Jin presents himself.

And then they will stop talking, and she will leave them alone.

What they talked about you ask? Usually it was about how his day went, they couldn't talk more than that (Because Hae Jin comes around)

He doesn't remember much of his time with Sung Yoon but he knew everything because of that helpful 'Memory Book'

However, with his Hyung, he not only remembers everything about him and with him because they were written down on perfect details but also because he held onto the memories.

Now, another question. Tae Jin can read your minds. You must be thinking, why didn't he tell Hae Jin he can see Sung Yoon or other ghosts? Why didn't he tell him he already knew he was a ghost? Why he pretended not to know Hae Jin wasn't human.

Why? That's something you'll find out soon.

Come to think of it, he really was a great actor as a kid. Maybe he should become an actor!

Tae Jin smiled at thought. Speaking out again, Sung Yoon got his attention as she said,

"By the way, who called? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a friend. You had this........ smile on your face" Until he looked at Hae Jin and the smile disappeared.

What was he thinking?

Whatever the case was, "The smile you had on your face was different" Yes, very different, she just couldn't put to words.

"My girlfriend called" And now we know who it was that he spoke on the phone with earlier. Well, I'm pretty sure we all saw this coming.

"You have a girlfriend?" Sung Yoon exclaimed in shock. Oh no, her ship was going to sunk!

Moreover!.......

Right when she has found a way to tease Hae Jin, this news comes out! What has she done to deserve this?!

Well,........as long as the kid's happy.

"You love her a lot?"

"I do. I cherish her a lot. She's everything I can ask for" Tae Jin said with a smile, thinking about Shin Hye.

Oh dear, was that the look of someone crazy in love? *Sigh, there goes her poor ship. She just hope there'll be something left under the sea.

"Wait, her name is Shin Hye right? I heard you say it"

"Yes"

"Isn't she one of your friends?" She heard from Hae Jin (That one of his friends was Shin Hye) And, didn't he leave his friends behind? And...... he only came back two weeks ago (She think).

So, how come they're already dating? Were they in love with each other all this time they were apart?

"I left with her to stay abroad. We.....We spent a lot of time together...."

"And then, you fell in love with each other?"

Tae Jin hummed in reply and Sung Yoon beamed, "Oh, dear, this can be a good love story to read"

"If you... say so"

"So, tell me, did you guys go on trips? When did you realize you loved each other" Oh, the second question, he'll avoid answering that. Pretend he didn't hear (The question)

"Yes, we traveled a lot when we vacated from school. Though we went with Shin Hye's caretakers and her bodyguards" Well, the caretakers and the bodyguards were for both of them. But, we still can't ignore the fact that, they were hired by Shin Hye's parents to keep her safe and provide her needs, and if she didn't go with him, they wouldn't have been hired.

"We went to Thailand, Japan, Paris and Africa as well"

"Africa? Where?" Sung Yoon asked eagerly, eyes sparkling with interest. When she was alive, it was her dream to travel around the whole and learn other countries' culture but she never got the chance to.

She ended up in the hospital and died right there.

"Well, we went to Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa,.....and...... I think Ghana as well. We've been to so many places and,....... It was a lot of fun. The saddest thing is, we only got to stay for a week in each country we went to. It was such a shame, I really wanted to stay a bit longer. But you know, we had school and we still had to study"

"Seriously? Tell me more! How did you find the men there?" Men, her only interest. This was what happens when you died single.

*Sigh, Sung Yoon sighed sadly in mind.

"I wasn't interested in guys"

"What a shame" Sung Yoon said, disappointed and Tae Jin felt this strong urge to tease her.

"But the girls were hot and beautiful"

"I don't want to know about girls"

Tae Jin burst out laughter. Gosh, Sung Yoon was just so funny and she wasn't even trying to be one.

It will be fun walking back home with her.

Hae Jin couldn't move. Right after both Tae and Sung Yoon left, he lost himself in a daydream.

The smiling mentally ill guy could only think about one thing......okay, make it four words.

Of all the words Tae Jin said, the only think he could think about was these words, 'I care about you', 'You're important to me', 'You're special to me' 

These words were all he could think about as they kept playing in mind and he kept smiling stupidly.

He was in a whole new different world. A world that only screamed out these words. And it put him in a much more better mood each second that went by (As he heard those words again and again)

God knew, how happy he was when he heard Tae Jin say he cared about him. That he was important to him, he was special to him.

Yes, he has heard this tons of time, but back then, Tae Jin was a kid.

He has never heard a grown up Tae Jin say those words and for some reason, that made him even more happy.

Made him feel....... special.

Something was different here. He couldn't put a finger on it but something was different.

This wasn't the same way he felt when the five year old Tae Jin or Sung Yoon said such words to him.

True, he felt happy when he heard how much Sung Yoon and Tae Jin (The five year old) cares about him. How much they loved him and how important he was to them but...... Hearing the 17year old Tae Jin say the same to him now, felt different.

Why was that?...............

Well, whatever!!

Hae Jin screamed in mind, losing himself in the dreamworld once again. Doesn't matter if he has no answers to these questions.

Tae Jin cared about him 

He cared about him!!

Hae Jin yelled in mind, happy, turning himself (Left to right, right to left) on the couch as he was smiling.

Without realizing, he fell hard on the ground from the couch and he felt pain throughout his poor dead body.

Pain? He was a ghost why come he felt pain?

"Well, isn't someone happy here"  Sung Yoon's voice sounded out and Hae Jin got up from the ground, taking a seat on the couch.

Pretending as if that embarrassing moment never happened.

Standing at the entrance of the living room (That's when you enter from the front door or you come in from upstairs), Sung Yoon made her way to the couch she sat on earlier.

A smirk playing on her lips.

"You saw nothing" Oh, she saw everything. She saw how Hae Jin was smiling stupidly while turning his body on the couch until he fell hard on the ground.

She had no clue on what he was thinking about that made him so happy but, she was glad ghosts don't feel pain because witnessing how hard her friend fell on the ground, it must have hurt a lot.

Sung Yoon had no idea, that it really hurt a lot when Hae Jin fell down.

But I can't say he was still feeling in that much pain because once again, time reversed and the pain (Hae Jin was feeling due to falling hard on the ground) was slowly going away. Until seconds later, he could no longer feel the pain.

He had no idea why he felt the pain in the first place, but he was glad it was gone.

Cause true be told, it hurt so freaking much!

"So, what were you thinking about?"

"Nothing" Oh, it was something. She has never seen Hae Jin this happy. Smiling from ear to ear with happiness written all over his face.

Reading love stories made him happy but he wasn't always this happy.

"You were thinking about Tae Jin right?" That was the only answer.

*Sigh,

Sung Yoon was glad she didn't listen to Hae Jin's nonsense and approached Tae Jin this morning.

Seeing Hae Jin this happy, she made the right decision.

"No" Hae Jin answered her question, avoiding Sung Yoon's gaze with guilt on his handsome face.

Hae Jin: Oh, you called me handsome. Finally, you can see what I see.

Author: Oh, please, the mirror can't even show your reflection.

Hae Jin: Is just a matter of time, I will be able to use my powers to show my reflection on mirrors.
