He Can't Stay Away From Her

Cheryl York had always thought she was special to Wesley Lincoln. Even if she had to stay by his side without anyone else knowing about it, she could be obedient and accommodating. She would willingly come to him as and when he wanted and loved him unconditionally. But everything changes when she learns that he's getting engaged. Cheryl doesn't believe it and even stupidly runs to him to ask him whether it's true. All she gets is a nonchalant question. "Don't I treat you well enough already?" It's only then that Cheryl realizes her love is nothing but a joke. Wesley only thinks of her as a plaything. Later, Cheryl gets married. On the day of her wedding, her groom clears a whole road in the city and has countless expensive cars lining it. The wedding is so grandiose that it's a scene no one has ever witnessed before. Everyone is jealous of how lucky she is. Wesley shows up at the wedding, too. He's neither the groom nor a guest—he's there to take the bride away. Cheryl has her arm in her groom's as they approach Wesley. She uses the exact same tone he used with her and asks, "Were my wedding photos not big enough to catch your attention, or has your eyesight gone bad with age, Uncle Wes?"
