However, it was impossible for Rory to complete the order in time. The second he signed the order contract, I got people to cause trouble for him, majorly disrupting his flow and delaying the delivery of raw materials as much as possible.

Although Rory tried his best to make up for lost time by getting everyone to work overtime, he still couldn't complete the order within the stipulated time.

Frustrated, Rory then got into a row with the person in charge, demanding that they extend the deadline. However, the other party said they were going to follow the terms that had been clearly written in the contract.

There was nothing Rory could do but pay up the massive fine outlined in the contract.

Just like that, he'd failed to reap any profits from this order. Instead, he'd even lost a huge sum of money because of it.

Rory came home that day and started venting to me. He asked me if I could talk to the clients nicely to lessen the fine because there was no way he'd be able to pay up su
