"Is she the one you're going to kill next?"
The sentence blows quickly to hit Nala with shock. Clearly that this guy had a conversation full of, Nala believed Raymond that he wouldn't be able to do it, right? She hardly sounds sure. But who's that guy that makes Nala doubt Raymond?
"Who is he?" Nala interrupts when Raymond is in her open room, he sits on a small red sofa in the corner of the room. Raymond appears to be jolted from his daydream when Nala asks him that.
He glanced at Nala to stare intently at her. There's an expression that arises there that Nala can't afford to read. fear? worried? Or what? Nala doesn't know.
Raymond just shuts his mouth shut, is this also part of his promise not to tell Nala?
"All right, that's your right not to speak." In the end, Nala says that even though her heart says otherwise, she wants to force Raymond to say all the things Nala doesn't know. But what if the man is right?
Nala massages the base of her nose when she thinks too much and her throbbing head hurts. She doesn't know if her curiosity can make Nala after this.
"Nala?"
"Hm?" murmured Nala opening a little of her eyes that had just closed. Nala instead found Raymond standing on both knees in front of himself sitting in a chair, Raymond's different eyes sparkling in color not to escape the sight of Nala who also looked at him. "What's wrong?"
"Can Ray touch Nala?"
Nala's forehead wrinkled to hear that. "For what?"
Raymond's look of ducking leaves Raymond's long eyelashes shaded between his nose. "Ray only wanted to hold Nala's hand once."There is silence that accompanies them with Nala's inability to digest what Raymond is. But in the end, Nala nodded and found that Raymond couldn't see her, she immediately said, "Go ahead."
Seconds after Nala said one word, Raymond's eyes crawled up until he caught Nala's gaze, his smile instantly blooming creating a reddish hue on Nala's cheek as Raymond slowly touched the tip of his finger on the back surface of Nala's hand lying on her lap.
Nala unknowingly breathes deeply as Raymond's scent gets thicker around her until Nala has to keep her body upright resting on the backrest of the chair preventing her from leaning more towards Raymond. She noticed how Raymond's fingers touched her hands very slowly as it was a fragile glass that could break at any time. Raymond then gently flips Nala's hand, tracing the lines in the palm of her hand until Raymond eventually grasps Nala's hand gently.
Nala feels her cheeks getting warmer as Raymond's cold big hands wrap her hands tightly. It's no ordinary grip, more like Raymond channeling his emotions on Nala. Nala's tears seemed to spill right away. Moreover, Raymond eventually looked up at her, sharing an expression that made Nala feel her heart as if squeezed with invisible hands.
As the grip tightens, Nala gasps as the faded white light appear like tendrils protruding from Raymond's right wrist and bloom to form a beautiful glowing inscription on his tanned skin. Nala's eyes glanced at Raymond who seemed surprised by himself, apparently he also only found out. Through the dim light, Nala read his writing, 'Pureza Na Luz'. "What is this?"
Raymond seemed tense in her grasp and as if conscious of his daydreams, he quickly pulled his hand away from Nala until instantly the writing on Raymond's skin disappeared like it was blown away. Raymond's gaze rises to Nala with his confusion and disbelief. Nala is a little disappointed when the writing quickly disappears with Raymond's hand away from Nala's grasp, even before Nala has time to admire it for much longer.
"What happened just now?" asked Nala once more.
Raymond's hair swayed with his head shaking. "That is the name of the kingdom where Ray lived, but Nala, the shining sign was a sign of the royals of Pureza Na Luz."
Nala listens carefully to Raymond, his head has concluded. "Then?"
Raymond seemed hesitant, his mouth open for him to close again. He rises restlessly and passes his eyes in all directions and returns to look at Nala with his eyebrows down. "Ray's nobody, Nala. Nature must have made a mistake."
Nala gets up and her hands float up to Raymond's wrist, jerking to feel her touch. Nala grasps gently and repeats to admire how the light re-rises forming beautiful writing on Raymond's skin. Nala then said almost half-whispered. "This beautiful thing, how can it be a mistake?"
Nala's left hand climbed through the cursive writing with her long fingers. Her other hand felt the warmth begin to spread slowly to Nala's skin that was channeled from Raymond. "If you mean you're not a part of it, let this happen. That means you're special Raymond, having this or without this."
Nala still admires the dim light that shines before her. Suddenly Nala's hand felt the water dripping there. Nala's eyes go up to find Raymond crying without sound with a vibrating body. Did Nala miss her speech to Raymond?
"I'm sorry Raymond, maybe my words are too harsh for you," she says sounding agitated in her standing place, she moves forward putting one of her hands on Raymond's shoulder.
"Nala never made a mistake on Ray. It's just that no one ever said that to Ray," he said weakly.
Nala's curved mouth forms a genuine smile. She raised her hand off Raymond's shoulder and slowly removed her other hand. She was a little disappointed when the writing disappeared with an imaginary hissing voice on her head.
Nala is amazed how many things relate to Raymond all like beautiful magic that never makes Nala bored to see more and how the glowing writing on Raymond's tanned skin arises because the reaction of direct contact with Nala is enough to make Nala's cheeks warm.
Nala's small cough attracts Raymond's attention. "What does that writing mean?""Pureza Na Luz means purity in light. It is the name of a kingdom where the elves of pure light without crosses between humans gather to form an empire. Every descendant of the king as well as members of the kingdom who are elves of pure light must have this mark that will be visible if they make contact with the bond of his partner. But Nala, Ray isn't both. Ray is not a descendant of the king, Ray is a half-human elf and the relationship between Ray and Nala is more like between a slave and his master."
Nala listens carefully to every word that comes out of Raymond's mouth until she has to shake when Nala hears Raymond's last sentence.
"What nonsense are you saying?"
Nala was about to open her voice when the speech was cut even before Nala spoke. She immediately tenses with her head jerking towards the doorway. Her mouth was snouted with scan eyes and Nala opened her mouth with a sense of shock and relief flooding every nerve. "Daniel?"
"Daniel?" Nala gasped to see Daniel who had been standing in the doorway with his eyes glaring at Raymond.Nala went forward she felt a sense of disappointment and pleasure gather together inside her when she looked back at Daniel who now looked fine. Nala took a step closer and made a sound to draw the attention of Daniel who seemed to forget Nala who was still standing there."Daniel? Where have you been?" Nala asked, even though she already knew half of the truth that had happened to Daniel. But Nala expects the honesty that she gets.Daniel's eyes shifted and looked straight into Nala's irises, a surprised expression crossed his face, and seemed to have just realized Nala's presence was also there. Daniel opened his mouth only for him to close it again, he looked very confused to answer Nala's question."Daniel?" call Nala one more time."Business trip." Daniel must be lying and doesn't seem to feel the least bit guilty about what he just said. Daniel turned away from Nala's gaze,
"Your death will come first if you even touch my family." Nala couldn't ignore how a pair of white wings suddenly appeared from behind this man's back, stretching wide to fill the narrow alley, making Nala feel the tightness attack her again. Moreover, coupled with the strong and sharp aroma that began to attack her sense of smell, Nala's legs felt weak and she slumped to the ground without being able to hold it. One of the man's sharp-shod legs pressed against Arghi's shoulder to keep it in place. The man's voice began to creep back through the air. "Killing you now would be so easy, but where's the fun in that?" Nala even now couldn't open her voice as the feeling of being suppressed was getting stronger and stronger over her body. Who is this person? "Lewis. Don't you want to know my name?" The man named Lewis, said in a sarcastic tone, the pressure on Nala's shoulders still didn't lessen in the slightest. "Your new pet didn't tell me about it?" Nala's eyes immediately narrowed
When Nala unlocked her bedroom door she found a lot of blackbird feathers strewn across the white-tiled floor. Nala stayed in her room with the windows tightly closed and the day was still bright. She took the feathers that were in front of her feet, it was very softer than the feathers of birds that Nala once held, and again her size was not small birds breed.Nala sniffs the air, her room is filled with a sweet fragrant melted chocolate and a faint smell of rain that just fell to meet Nala's smell. The fur that Nala holds also smells the smell of her favorite chocolate.Crack! The sound of friction makes Nala's head jerk towards her mattress with her eyes flickering. There was a large mound moving around in a thick blanket that lay in disarray. Nala's heart suddenly races, pumping blood quickly.Nala's eyes are looking around, something to defend herself and find her badminton racket hanging from the wall. She slowly picked it up. Taking
Nala wakes up from sleep with a sweaty body. She massages her forehead while Nala still smells the chocolate again, Nala pulls the end of her blanket for her to stick to her nose. She inhaled deeply as if that was his focus in breathing."Enjoying something, eh?" Nala freezes as if she's down to doing something that's right, but Nala won't admit it.Nala's cheek catches fire when Daniel catches her kissing the blanket unnaturally. Nala immediately let go as if nothing had happened."He didn't do anything with Nala?" asked Daniel who Nala understood who he meant.Nala shook her head, she grabbed her blanket. Nala suddenly worries about what happens after she loses consciousness. "Where's Raymond, Daniel?"Daniel looked at Nala with his eyes squinting. He was on one part of his leg with both hands folded in front of his chest. "For a while, I locked him in a warehouse. Nala, obviously he's not human. He could have been planning evil, right. We don't
"Ray's going to die."The sentence was like dozens of needles poking right into Nala's chest, so she couldn't seem to look at Raymond. Who Raymond was to himself until he felt sick to her?Nala just kept her lips tight. Swallowed every sentence she throw at Raymond for her to take out. They remain silent until the silence is broken by Raymond's stomach sound.Nala instantly turns to Raymond, amused strokes instantly appear on her face. This time he tightly closed her lips so that the laughter did not trickle out. "Are you hungry?"Raymond nodded with a curved lip, like someone pressing a button inside his head. Her eyes instantly glowed back slowly until Nala watched it. "Yes, Nala."Nala's eyes flicker several times as she loses her focus. She's never been like this before, she's always directed and well-controlled. "Let's go out, I haven't had lunch either," she said as he stood up. Raymond follows Nala walking behind her."Want to eat?" N
"Make a plea, Nala." Dad talks while thrusting a cake with a birthday candle lit on it on Nala."Dad, I don't believe in anything like this," Nala said with a smile staring at the cake in front of her face. She turned his eyes to Mother and Daniel waiting for her."Come on Nala, just make a wish. God will grant it." Daniel walked to stand by her side."Come on, honey. I've objected to holding the cake," Mother said, making Dad and Daniel laugh crisply. "Yes, Mother." Nala closed her eyes. Although Nala doesn't believe in things like this, she inevitably makes a plea. The problem is Nala doesn't have a plea, she feels all is enough. So she made a plea that wouldn't have been possible. 'I begged on my birthday. There will be handsome men coming down from the sky like winged angels who will love me, accepting my flaws and strengths sincerely.' Nala smiles with her plea. Then she opened her eyes and blew out the number twenty-

Nala frantically drags Raymond into the house after she finds Raymond in a torn shirt when his wings come out forcefully in the middle of their yard. Nala sighs heavily, she doesn't see anyone around them.Raymond's big wings were stuck behind him. Nala looked at Raymond with understanding and asked, "Why did you come out of the house and show me your wings? We talked about this, haven't we."Raymond's eyes move away from Nala's sight. "Someone was looking at Nala's window constantly. So Ray came to see." "And you pulled out your wings? Look, Raymond, you can't show it in public. People will be afraid and there will be a lot of trouble in the future."Hearing Nala speaks Raymond slightly strained his head automatically ducking. He didn't respond to anything and closed his lips tightly. Nala sighs heavily and stares at Raymond as Raymond begins to open his lips for him to close again.
Nala's feelings became uneasy and agitated, so she immediately ran down the stairs to get out into her yard in a hurry.Nala's legs become limp when her eyes capture a sight she never wanted to see. Its plain white t-shirt is smeared with terrible bloodstains, littering the grass like a spill of red paint.Tears that Nala did not realize had flowed rapidly when she reached Daniel. He knelt clutching Daniel's cold palm. Daniel who is still semi-conscious blinks weakly staring at Nala, his hand back grasping Nala gently."Raymond? Raymond calls someone. Raymond. Anyone. When Nala walks up to fetch fresh air, she feels the wind blowing at her nape. Making the uncomfortable feeling wrap tightly, she paused just to turn around and found no one there. Nala waits in case the man shows his nose. However, nothing happened. The wind blows slowly stroking the smooth surface of her face, Nala draws a deep breath filling her lung cavity, and feels a scent that she knows very well. Nala's lips form a thin line, she is disappointed in Raymond not following her words."Just get out, Raymond!" commands Nala in her voice filled with disappointment.Nala grunts, her hands stuffed into her gym pants pocket as she watches Raymond emerge from his hideout behind a tree shyly. Raymond even followed her barefoot."I told you to stay home," Nala said. She still feels the guilt that still lodges with Raymond because of the actual abusive behavior he didn't mean to be. Nala just didn't know what was wrong with her at the time, she just didn't see
Nala breathes as slowly as possible late tonight, she leans against the wall to hear any movement in the next room. But there remains silence only the sound of the spring wind crackling out there, creating leaves dancing along with the breeze. What's wrong with Daniel? He's been locked up since two days ago, Nala believes. Although her mother said Daniel was out of town and didn't know when to go home. If it was true daniel was away, her brother would have said goodbye to her. Nala occasionally hears a movement at the end of Daniel's room, a falling object, something broken might just be a glass. But as soon as that sound comes up, it will sink back behind the silence like never before. Dad, mom even Raymond kind of covered this up from Nala. They sometimes pretend not to hear Nala ask when she brings up a conversation about Daniel's presence while they are chatting. "What exactly is it?" asked Nala to herself. He's getting his legs to his chest. Nala was jol
