His automobile screamed on the dimly lit blacktop as the headlights illuminated the dark as Elijah drove over country roads. His palm grasped the steering wheel so firmly that the skin had grown pale and his thoughts were full of hope and concern. Every one of the witches that Beta could think of and make touch with had been used up and had been seeking far and wide for a match to Ema’s witch and her location spell. As he navigated the forest roads in the wee hours of the morning, he noticed that the dew was still lying on the ground. Looking forward, Beta Elijah tightened their grip on the wheel until the stress from the events of the past several days manifested in his bones.
