Chapter 9: Wonderful banquet

On the banquet table were delicious dishes presented beautifully by Kenny and Katherine. Lily's eyes were as bright as a pair of car headlights. Looking at Lily's lovely appearance made Katherine realize that it had been long since the whole family of four had time to sit together and eat like that. Maybe that's why Katherine cried earlier. She quickly becomes sensitive and fragile when around her family. This is something she has always kept to herself. Seeing Katherine lost in thought, Macken motioned for her to get some sauce. Katherine looked at the dishes on the table and quickly searched for the right spices.

While Katherine searched for the jars of sauce in the top drawer, Lily was gazing at a plate of zucchini spaghetti with huge cherry tomatoes. She was instructed by Macken himself to sprinkle some shredded parmesan cheese on top. Although only seven or eight years old, Lily performed very well. Her quick hands and delicious smoke made everyone feel hungry. Macken was pleased
