ANDRONIKA POV.

Nickel eyes were focused at the road as he drove slowly to avoid hitting any car along the roadway.

I couldn’t help but stare aimlessly at him, his scent were getting stronger as he was close to me. I tried to invade his mind, to read what’s going on in there but paused as I thought about it for a while, that will be wrong.

Reading people’s mind is one of my special gift. My father had taught me how to make use of it in the park and warned me to be cautious of how I use my power’s.

Sigh…

Anika groan from the backseat and I quickly darted my eyes to avoid been caught, stealing glance at him.

“This ride is getting boring”. She said and I rolled my eyes. “Hey handsome, what’s your name?”. She asked with a half smile curving up on her lips.

“Anika…”. I turned and scold her but she seems to have ignore my warnings.

Nickel chuckled lightly before he respond, “Nickel”.

“Didn’t your sis told you about me?”. He asked and his husky voice made my face redden.

I can’t believe I’m actually shy, what if he sees me.

“Nope”. She respond. “So tell me…do you have any interest in my sister?”. Anika asked and I glared at her.

“Anika…”. I scold again and Nickel laughed.

“It’s fine”. Nickel assured me and I ignored her. “And why do you wanna know?”. He asked and I guess he’s just playing along with her.

“Because my sister does”. Anika said and this time I was forced to yell at her.

“Anika!”.

“Fine”. Anika rolled her eyes and recline to the chair.

Few hours later, he drove his car in front of our house before it hault.

“Thank you”. I said and he smiled at me before I alighted from the car.

Anika came down also before he revise his car and departed.

Anika was glaring at me with a devilish smile on her face.

“What?”. I asked as I strode into the apartment.

“Someone is inloveeeee….”. Anika sang out to my hearing and I just ignored.

I reached the stairs and began climbing. I reached up and entered my room with Anika still following me from behind.

“Stop pretending as if you don’t like him”. Anika said and winked at me.

“I don’t”. I said and dropped the bag on the bed before I flopped on it.

“Then why did you locked the your heart?”. Anika asked as she crossed her hand across her chest and lean her back against the door.

“Are you trying to feel my heart beat?”. I asked as I sat up on my elbow.

“No”. She furrowed her brows which obviously proves that she’s lying. “So that means you like him?”. Anika asked.

“No!”. I denied.

Of course I liked him, but not that much since I don’t know him nor have any idea who he truly is.

“Okay then”. Anika said, glancing at me before she turned and dismissed.

I fall back to the bed and heaved a sigh.
