PROLOGUE
“Tell me what you want baby.” He whispered softly into my ears. I couldn’t open my eyes as I bit my lips to stop the moan from escaping my throat. It was utterly embarrassing. “I know what you want Logan, but I want you to say it.” His playful voice teased as he nibbled on my earlobes while his fingers gently caressed my nipples. Why do I need to say it. I would rather die than say such embarrassing things out loud. He licked down from my ears to my throat as his wet tongue settled on my Adam apple. In this moment, I couldn’t hold back my moan as my toes curled up on the bed. “Ah Gavin! Yes!” I moaned shamelessly and I could feel him smirking without having to meet his eyes. “Say it. Tell me what you want me to do to you. I want to hear it little bunny.” He teased once more and I felt like my hard dick could explode any moment from now from all the teasing he was doing to my body. “Fuck you Gavin!” I cussed in rage and he bit my neck, causing me to wince in pain before using his tongue to sooth the ache on my neck. “Of course," he smirked. "But I'm going to be the one pounding you roughly.” I looked up to meet his lustful gaze as my heart raced with desires to be claimed by this big bad wolf. “Fuck me!” I whispered, embarrassment clear in my voice . “No, no baby. I can’t hear you.” I bit my lips before raising my voice again. “Fucking hell! I said fuck me Logan! For fucks sake!” I couldn’t believe the words coming out of my mouth. That I would ask Gavin Slade, my archenemy to fuck me. The very person who has done all sorts of things to embarrass me and make sure I remained a completely useless toy in his hands to play with. I must be utterly crazy to desire such things with this bastard. ~ LOGAN'S POV ~ I slammed my fist hard on the desk. "Can't they see I'm busy?" I growled. My phone rang again. I hissed frustrated as I picked up the call. "Mr Logan Pierce, it's Jenkins from Goldrim. We're withdrawing our investment. The rumors about your company's financial troubles are quite ...alarming." I rubbed my temples. "Mr Jenkins, I assure you, we're stable. This is just a minor setback." He snorted. "Minor setback? Mr Logan, your company's on the verge of bankruptcy. We can't afford to take the risk." I felt a cold sweat trickle down my spine. “Please reconsider...we have been partners since the time of my mother. You can’t ....” “I’m really sorry Mr Logan, but this is business. Goodbye.” “Mr.......oh fuck! He hung up.” I hissed angrily. That’s the seventh one today. There was a knock on the door and Peter, my secretary came in. "What is it, Peter?" I said curtly, because I cannot afford another bad news. Peter's expression was grim. "The reporters are swarming outside the building. They're asking about the investigation and the company's financial troubles." My mind reeled, but I maintained composure. “Get someone to handle them.” I waved it off, but he still stood like he had more to say. “And?” I asked him. "Most of the employees are submitting their resignation letters. They're scared Mr Logan." I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. Why was this happening now? I looked at Peter. "Get me the head of our financial department. Now!" Peter nodded and hurried out. I paced round the room. This had to be some kind of mistake. There’s no way we are completely broke. It can’t be. My phone rang again, but I ignored it. Peter returned with a nervous looking man. "Mr Logan, this is Mr Thompson, our financial head." Thompson trembled as he spoke. "Mr Lo....Logan, I...I don't know how to say this, but...the company's bankrupt. We've been investigated, and it's been discovered that funds have been siphoned to offshore accounts through several paper companies. The police has seized everything. And the banks are threatening sir." “I already know that. What I’m asking now is how we can revive the company. This was my mother’s life’s work. How can we escape bankruptcy?” I asked with every muscle in my veins. “The only way is to get a big loan. But none of the banks are willing to give us because of the...the news about of company.” Fuck! All of this is because of that bastard Jaxon, my half brother. He syphoned funds, he misused resources, he did everything. At least, he’s in jail now. That’s my only consolation, but I’m the one who’s going to suffer and try to revive the company again. “Okay, I’ll see how I can secure some funds.” Surely , there is someone out there who can help me. ~~~~~ After a hectic day, I drove back home to be met with more headaches. As I stepped out of the car, I could already hear the sobbing coming from inside the house. I rolled my eyes. "Thanks Peter. You can head back." Peter bowed. "Yes sir." I walked into the house, and the sobbing grew louder. I followed the sound to the living room, where my stepmother, Hilda Pierce was bawling her eyes out on the couch with my father, Gideon Pierce trying to comfort her, but she was having none of it. "I want my son back!" she wailed. My father looked up and caught my eye. "Logan, come here." Argh! Why did he have to see me. I reluctantly walked over, not wanting to get drawn into their drama. "What's going on?" I asked, already knowing the answer. "The police just arrested Jaxon this morning" my father said, his voice accusatory. "I know," I replied. "I just found out myself." My father's expression turned angry. "You should have protected him, Logan. You're his brother." I felt a surge of offense. "Protected him? He's the one who got himself into trouble. And he's older than me, he should be setting a good example." My father's face reddened. "That's not the point! Family sticks together, no matter what. You should be doing everything in your power to get your brother out, not walking around in a well ironed suit." He sneered while his wife Hilda kept sobbing and I wasn’t having any of this. I shook my head. "You can't seriously expect me to fix this mess. Jaxon's actions have consequences, and now the company is suffering." My father's expression turned cold. “The company? Is the company more important than your brother?” he shouted at me. This wasn’t the first time anyway. “Yes. Yes it is Mr Pierce.” I retorted and we stood at a face off. “That company, Hartley holdings, belonged to my mother Christiana Hartley. After she died, you got to run it and you brought your mistress and her son into our home. Now look at what that disappointment has done! Stealing funds... He’s destroyed everything!” I yelled and I couldn’t process the next thing because I couldn’t feel for a second. Soon I could feel the sting on my cheeks. He had hit me. Again. “I would not have you disrespect my wife and our son by calling her a mistress. You hear me boy!” he dragged my collar and I bit down every cuss words from escaping my throat. “You hear me?” he asked again, this time more violently. “I hear you sir.” I forced myself to utter. I didn’t want to be hit again with a golf club. It’s pretty sad that a 26 years old man still gets beaten up by his dad. Wonder why I can’t leave this house? There’s no way I’m letting this mistress and her dumb son take over my mother’s house. "I have a way we can get out of this," father said as he patted Hilda’s back, who was still annoyingly sniffling. I raised an eyebrow. "How?" My father's eyes gleamed with a calculating intensity. "We'll have to ask Gavin Slade for help." My eyes widened as I felt a shiver run down my spine. “You can’t be serious. Gavin Slade, as in Gavin Slade?” I asked still finding it unbelievably. “I guess you are not deaf boy. Get things ready. Only he can lend us the amount of money we need. Besides, you boys go way back. For old times sake, he should help. Get things done quickly.” He ordered. Old times sake? Hah! I laugh at my misfortune. All the horrible memories I had of him replayed in my mind and a shudder ran down my spine. Gavin Slade of all people. I guess this is the beginning of my misfortunes.I rubbed my temples, frustration boiling over. "Peter, how many emails have you sent to Gavin Slade?" Peter checked his notes. "Three to his work email, two to his personal email, and I even went to the Slade Corporation to request a meeting. But sir....they all got snubbed." I felt a surge of rage. How could Gavin ignore me like this? Didn't he know who I was? My family's company had been a major player in the business world for decades. And he dared to ignore me like this? Fuck! Father's words kept echoing in my mind. Gavin Slade is the only one who can give us the money you need to revive the company. But I knew Gavin. He was a twisted, selfish, psychopathic narcissistic prick who only cared about one thing. Himself. And I knew that if I went to him for help, he'd definitely demand something in return. Something I might not be willing to give, but do I have a choice at this point? “So what are our options then?” I asked Peter because at the moment I couldn’t think anymore.
“Dance!” “Dance? Me? You must be fucking crazy Gavin.” I said unrestrained. He was out of his mind. Do I look like a stripper that I’d start dancing on a pole to entertain some sick bastard because of money? I was a business man, and we make deals. “Are you refusing? His words were harsh this time. “Hell yes I’m refusing. And fuck you Gavin!” I cussed again as I headed for the door angrily. “Know that if you walk out, I’ll never let you approach me again, and I’ll make sure no one lends you the money. But if you dance for me, I won’t lend you the money, but I’ll give it to you as a gift.” He threatened and I stopped in my heels. The Slade family wasn’t that powerful in the start, but after this asshole came back from studying abroad five years ago, the Slade corporation became a powerhouse in the nation and even internationally. Almost all businesses are controlled by him. I have been surviving all this while because we don’t cross each others paths because we know how much we
“That piece of crap? I sold it!” his tone devoid of remorse. I felt like I could murder him right now. "You sold mom's diamond necklace?" I asked, my voice rising in outrage. “I assume your are not deaf.” He hissed. I couldn’t believe my ears. “Why? Why did you sell it?” I asked angrily. But he just shrugged. "We needed the money to bail Jaxon out of jail." I was beyond furious. "You sold mom's family heirloom to bail out your mistress's son?" This was the limit. I was done. He didn’t even look a bit remorseful. "What's the big deal, Logan? It's just a piece of jewelry." I was appalled. "Just a piece of jewelry?" I repeated, my voice raising. "That necklace had been in mom’s family for generations. It was mom's most treasured possession." Dad snorted. "You're so sentimental Logan. You need to learn to prioritize what's truly important." "You have no right to lecture me about priorities," I said, my voice cold. "You're the one who needs to learn about priorities and stop bein
My frown deepened as I took in Stephen’s appearance. He was dressed in a tailored suit, his hair slicked back to reveal a smug expression. He had a naughty glint in his eye, and I knew that he only spelt trouble. He was a rich entitled brat that has been on my neck since forever. Just a jealous twat after my business, but mostly my peace of mind. "Good to see you Logan," Stephen said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I didn't know you were into auctions." I narrowed my eyes, my instincts on high alert. "I'm just here for a specific item," I said trying to keep my cool. Stephen's grin widened. "Oh, I think I know what that item might be, And I think I might just have to bid against you." My eyes locked onto his, a spark of anger igniting within me. “You don’t have to be a prick every goddamn time.” I hissed annoyed and he chuckled as he neared me. He lifted his hands and stroked my hair but I pushed him off. “Awwww! Princess is mad? Come on Logan, it’s a bid. So just try your bes
“I will do anything!” I said with resolve. A small smile spread across his face as he leaned in all the more, pressing his hard body against mine. “If you really are willing, then I’ll give it to you, only if you suck me.” His soft seductive whisper bounced off in my ears.“Suck you?” I asked as I backed up, my face contorted into a confused look. He pinched my chin and drew me closer to him again. “I meant to.... give me a blow job.” He smirked. My brain clicked that instant and anger flared inside of me as I pushed him off me aggressively. “The hells wrong with you Gavin! Is that something to joke about?” I spat angrily but he simply chuckled.“Come on Logan, stop acting like a child,” he shrugged. “Just one blow job and I’ll give the necklace back to you.” He said as if his words meant nothing.I heaved, my anger simmering. “Do not for one second think that I would not dare to punch you in the face and ruin that perfect bone structure,” I said with clenched fist. “If you ar
Panic set in at once as I heard those words. I got out of my pajamas and into an ordinary outfit as I hurried out of my suite. I drove fast, through the chill evening air, muttering and praying to every higher being in the universe. “Dad please be okay!” I kept saying as my eyes locked onto the GPS, trying to find the route to the hospital dad had been admitted into.I admit, I hate that darned old man because of the way he treated me and my mother. But he was still my father, the only real family I have left, and I didn’t want anything to happen to him. I arrived the hospital and got out of the car swiftly, I ran fast and skidded to a halt in front of the hospital, my breath coming in ragged gasps. The fluorescent lights of the entrance cast long eerie shadows across the pavement. I didn’t like hospitals. It held horrible memories of how my mother spent her last days. I pushed open the heavy doors and hurried down the sterile corridors, the smell of antiseptic and medications
I stumbled back, knocking over Peter's shot from his hands with a clatter. He stared at me, his face a mixture of concern and confusion."Logan what's wrong?"I ignored him, my gaze frantically searching the room. "Keys," I demanded, my voice hoarse. "Car keys, where is it?”Peter hesitated, his brow furrowed. "Sir are you alright? What's going on?""Just give me the damn keys!" I snapped, my patience wearing thin.“I’m sorry but I cannot do that. You seem drunk and.....”I turned around, ignoring him as I strode towards the exit, leaving him confused.I burst out of the bar, the cool night air doing little to calm my racing heart. I hailed a cab as I fumbled in my pocket for my phone, my fingers trembling slightly. I dialed Gavin's number, my voice strained as I waited for him to pick up."Gavin," I rasped, "Where are you?"He chuckled, his voice low and even. "I'll send you an address. Hurry little bunny, I don’t like to wait.”Before I could question him further, he hung
The intensity in Gavin's eyes was almost suffocating, sucking out every breath from my lungs. His gaze, a burning brand, seared into my very soul, leaving me disoriented. “But I don’t know how.....I’ve never done it before.” I said shyly looking away from his piercing gaze. He pinched my chin and brought my gaze back to him as if to tell me to never look away. “You know the part of yourself that gives you the most pleasure,” he said softly as he bit his lips making me to swallow hard, “now, use that instinct and you’ll naturally know what to do.” The part of me that wants to be pleasured? Surely that’s one hell of a way to teach a first timer how to give a blow job. I stumbled back, needing to put some distance between us and he released me, I watched mesmerized, as his long slender fingers expertly undid the knot of his robe, the silken fabric dropping down from over his broad shoulders and down his legs, exposing his huge and erect cock. My breath hitched in my throat, my
I slammed the bathroom door behind me, the sound echoing the rage pounding in my head. Fuck. Just fuck. I yanked my pants trousers on, the soft material surprisingly rough against my skin, a huge contrast to the slick heated feel of… last night. My jaw tightened as I recalled my night with Logan. Last night had been… perfect. God, it had been everything. Logan and I, pressed together in that cramped shower, the steam fogging the mirror, his warm mouth against my throbbing dick, his tongue swirling my whole lengthy. The way he had… the way he had moved and bucked his hips against mine. My fingers in his warm hole, loosening him up. It was perfect. My fingers clenched at the memory, a phantom sensation lingering. And this morning had started so well. We had been laughing, for fucks sake, almost getting at it again even, then Peter’s name had slithered into the conversation, like a goddamn snake. Just the mention of the man’s name was enough to ignite a fire in my gut. And L
“Teach me how to court Logan.” Those were the embarrassing words I had said to Lily last night. But now, I stood outside of our family mansion and Lily’s words echoed in my head.“If you want my help, you come home.” Help. As if I had a choice. I was utterly lost in the struggle to gain Logan Pierce’s affections, a lack thereof I had and Lily, that manipulative little… sister, was my only lifeline. So, here I was, at the house. Mom had also given me an ultimatum to return home today or actually get disowned for real. I let out a frustrated hiss, a small act of rebellion against the inevitable, and pushed the front door open, and walked into the house. The familiar sounds of morning filtered through the house. The clinking of silverware, hushed conversations. I knew exactly what awaited me. The ritual of forced civility disguised as family breakfast. As I entered the dining room, the scene unfolded precisely as I had imagined it to be. My father, as always, was engrossed in hi
~ Gavin’s POV ~My head pounded against the mattress as I dived in head first. I couldn’t stop thinking about a certain stubborn little bunny called Logan. Just because we had an argument, he had refused to eat for three whole days, just to prove a fucking point. A stupid, reckless and almost fatal point. The memory of his pale face, when I found him passed out in his room churned in my gut. I knew I had messed up, royally. My usual tactics, the leverage, the veiled threats , they had backfired spectacularly which almost maybe made him almost lose his life. Imagine if I hadn’t gone back that day, what would have happened? I couldn’t bring myself to imagine it. And the worst part? A tiny, shameful voice whispered that I deserved it. I deserved to lose him forever.I shifted, resting my head on my hands, staring blankly at the ceiling. Logan’s words after we got back from the hospital couldn’t stop echoing in my mind. “If you really want to date me, then come over once in a while.
The warmth I was feeling right now from the body pressed against mine was a pleasant surprise. A deep comforting heat that seeped into my bones, chasing away the lingering chill of… what? I couldn't quite place it. The feeling was familiar, though. Like a half remembered dream or memory. I snuggled closer, a small smile tugging at my lips. It was the kind of warmth that reminded me of… my mom. Her soft body pressed against mine, the gentle weight of her arm draped across my back when I was still a kid. She would hold me like that all night, a constant, reassuring presence in the darkness that clouded our lives back then. I clung to the warmth beside me now, seeking that same comfort I used to feel. But something was… off. It wasn't quite the same. The texture, for one. Mom was… softer. This was firmer, harder and more… defined. And the smell. Mom always smelled of lavender and something faintly sweet, like warm milk and honey. This was different. Sharper. More… masculi
TRIGGER WARNING!!!"Logan," he growled, his breath hot against my ear, "I’m afraid I’m going to do more than just touching.”His words sent a jolt of current through my entire body. It was like he released a horny monster inside of me with his words. "You can do anything you want," I breathed, my voice hoarse. "Just… don't penetrate."My eyes darted down to where his dick pressed against my thigh, a hard, insistent reminder of his need. He was already rock hard, a testament to the potency of his desire to fuck me. I don’t want his dick inside of me. At least not now. I’ve never done that before and I’m afraid I might not like it.Gently, I tapped his shoulder, indicating that I wanted him to put me down. He lowered me slowly, his gaze never leaving mine, a possessive glint in his eyes.I knelt before him, my hands tracing a path down his chest, across his stomach, finally settling on his waist. He shuddered, a low groan escaping his lips.My lips followed the path my hands had taken,
The icy water slipped from my grip as I attempted to grab it from him and it splashed across Gavin's chest, soaking his shirt. The thin fabric clung to his skin, outlining the hard lines of his muscles in a way that sent a jolt of unexpected heat through me. I swallowed hard, my gaze fixed to his chest, the way the water droplets traced the contours of his body."Look what you've done," Gavin grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Now I have to also take a bath.""I… I…" I stammered, completely flustered."Don't just stand there," he said, reaching for me and pulling me closer. "Get me a towel." He murmured against my neck."No," I managed to get out of his hold, "you can't have a bath at my place." I tried to insist.Gavin's eyes narrowed in displeasure as he stared at me. Clearly, he hated not getting his way. "Then I'll just strip here and wait for my clothes to dry off then." He suddenly uttered. Before I could even register what he has said and was about to do, he sta
I opened the door and sat down, the leather of the car seat was cold against my skin, as it was quite windy tonight. Gavin slid into the seat beside me, his presence filling the small space with a tension that sucked in the air out of my lungs. I shifted uncomfortably and held my breath. I needed to do something, anything, the get rid of this awkwardness I was feeling.Right? I reached for the seatbelt, my fingers fumbled with the buckle, clumsily and awkwardly. Definitely not what I was going for. Before I could secure it, his hand, strong and warm, reached over, gently guiding mine as it brushed against my skin. Gavin leaned closer, his breath fanning my neck, sending a jolt of electricity through me. Our eyes met, a silent conversation passing between us in that fleeting moment. Time seemed to slow down as the world faded away and I was lost in the intensity of his gaze.He pulled the belt and clicked it into place, his hand lingering on my shoulder for a heartbeat longer than
It was a new day. A new day to burn in corporate hell. I actually missed this feeling and at the same time I didn’t. The continuous slamming of keys on my system, the calls, screaming orders..God I missed this so damn much.I had gone back to work and it was so fucking hectic just on the first day. Well we should not forget to thank the ever so compassionate Jaxon who had nearly brought the company to its knees, and the task of rebuilding felt monumental. Most of our staffs had resigned and only a loyal few remained, so we were basically short staffed and we didn’t need to have less hands on deck at this point.Peter, ever the efficient one, was meticulously filing the last of the interview notes since we needed more workers and quickly. Thank goodness a good number of them turned up for the interview today and I could finger point some really smart ones. I stretched, my back protesting the hours I spent hunched over the desk. "I'm starving," I groaned, my stomach rumbling in ag
~ Logan’s POV ~The cool wind from the window ruffled my hair. I watched the trees blurring past, as the car sped past the road surrounded by greeneries. Peter remained silent as he drove, his focus solely on the road. I sighed, but I was contented. That mad man Gavin finally let me out of the house. I had just babbled nonsense about dating properly and he fell for it. “Thank goodness!” I muttered quietly to myself. Staying in his place like that was dangerous and if others knew what he wanted me to be to him in that way and that we were cohabiting....I would be too embarrassed to face anyone. Words do fly around quickly in our circle. I do not want such attention on myself. Before this, I have never dated men. I dated a few girls back in college, but I knew guys found me attractive too, but I have never ever dated them. I had nothing against same sex relationship since my best friend Alexander Miller was openly gay anyway before he went on self exile to God knows where some years
