I rubbed my temples, frustration boiling over. "Peter, how many emails have you sent to Gavin Slade?"

Peter checked his notes. "Three to his work email, two to his personal email, and I even went to the Slade Corporation to request a meeting. But sir....they all got snubbed."

I felt a surge of rage. How could Gavin ignore me like this? Didn't he know who I was? My family's company had been a major player in the business world for decades. And he dared to ignore me like this? Fuck!

Father's words kept echoing in my mind. Gavin Slade is the only one who can give us the money you need to revive the company.

But I knew Gavin. He was a twisted, selfish, psychopathic narcissistic prick who only cared about one thing. Himself. And I knew that if I went to him for help, he'd definitely demand something in return. Something I might not be willing to give, but do I have a choice at this point?

“So what are our options then?” I asked Peter because at the moment I couldn’t think anymore.

“Maybe if we could miraculously bump into him...”

“Miracles don’t exist Peter.” I cut him off as I rolled my eyes. “And even if it did, bumping into Gavin is more of a curse than a miracle.” I hissed the words out. There was nothing I could do. And Alexander Miller has been out of the country for years and I can’t reach him, or he’d have definitely helped me. Such a bad timing.

Just as I was about to give up hope, my phone buzzed with a party notification from someone in our business circle. The location was an exclusive club, and I mentally decided not to attend. I had too much on my plate to deal with the pretentious crowd who were probably just waiting to laugh at me.

But then I saw the guest list. Gavin Slade's name jumped out at me. This was it. My miracle. This was my chance to get to Gavin.

I looked at Peter. "I'm going to that party tonight.”

“I’ll arrange for it sir.” He said politely.

“And,” I added. “I guess miracles exist.” I smirked and he just chuckled at the side.

I have to meet him whether he likes it or not.

~~~~~
As I stepped out of the car with Peter, the thumping bass hit us like a wave, that I felt I could go deaf any second from now. The building's exterior was nondescript, but the moment we entered, I was assaulted by the sights and sounds of debauchery. Male and female strippers danced at every corner, their bodies glistening with sweat as they writhed to the music. The rich heirs and socialites tossed money at them like confetti, laughing and cheering as they made it rain with cash. This kind of madness, I tried to always keep myself out of it.
I wasn't interested in any of this at all. I was here for one reason, which was to see Gavin, and then I’ll leave.
Bryce, the one who'd invited me, spotted me and walked over with a glass of liquor in his hand. "Logan my man! Welcome to the party!"
I forced a smile, exchanging pleasantries with Bryce as we shook hands.
“You never come to this kind of parties man. Hoping to socialise more?” he smirked and I could tell he was laughing at me, his eyes glinting with amusement as he asked that question. He knows we are bankrupt and we need help.
“I just wanted to let loose.” I said bitting back every cuss words I planned to say. I shouldn’t insult the host or I’ll get thrown out immediately. I couldn’t afford that.
"How's the family business doing, Logan? Still on top of the world?" He grinned.
I ignored the jab, my expression neutral. "It's doing fine, thanks for asking. But I'm actually here to see Gavin. Do you know where he is?"
Bryce's grin faltered for a moment before he recovered. "Ah, yeah. Gavin's in the VIP section. He's...enjoying himself. But be warned, he doesn't like to be disturbed."
I nodded, my eyes already scanning the room for the VIP section. "Thanks for the heads up." Not that I needed it.
Without another word, I walked towards the VIP section, Peter following closely behind me. But as we approached the entrance, Gavin's bodyguards blocked our path.
"I'm afraid only Mr Logan is allowed in," one of them said, his voice firm but polite.
I raised an eyebrow. "Gavin's expecting me?"
The bodyguard nodded. "Yes sir. Please, follow me."
Now that was news. The bastard has been ignoring me all day but he’s suddenly expecting me? Cowardly prick!
I turned to Peter. "Wait for me here. Be on alert."
Peter nodded, his eyes scanning the surrounding area before focusing on the bodyguards. "Be careful, sir."
I nodded, following the bodyguard into the VIP section.
The room was a stark contrast to the chaos outside. It was darker, colder, and had a much cooler vibe. Gavin sat on a plush couch, surrounded by dancers who were serenading him with their bodies, each one trying to catch his attention. But he looked bored, his Auburn eyes gleaming with a mixture of disinterest and calculation as he watched them swirl to the music. His hair was perfectly messy as if he had ruffled it up time and time again out of boredom, and his perfect face, that chiseled chin which I hated was perfectly illuminated by the dim light.
As I entered, his gaze shifted to me, and a slow smile spread across his face. "Logan, welcome. Come in." he chimed with that annoying baritone voice of his.
He beckoned me closer, his voice dripping with amusement. "Leave us," he told the dancers, his tone harsh.
The girls scrambled to gather the money scattered on the ground, their faces flushed with embarrassment. They quickly exited the room, leaving Gavin and me alone.
The silence was oppressive and the air thick with tension. I could feel Gavin's eyes on me, boring into my skin like cold, calculating drills.
"So, Logan," Gavin said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I hear you're in a bit of a bind. Your company's on the verge of bankruptcy, and you need....my help." he said proudly with a light smirk.
I felt a surge of anger, but I pushed it down, my expression neutral. "Gavin, I....."
He raised a hand, his eyes glinting with amusement. "No, no, Logan. Let's not play games. I know exactly why you're here. And I'm willing to help...but for a price."
My gut twisted with unease. I knew Gavin was a master manipulator, always getting what he wanted no matter the cost. And I had a feeling that his price would be steeper than I was willing to pay.
“What do you want?” I asked boldly. If he wanted me to draw my blood, I’d do it. I can’t let mom's sweat go down the drain like that.
He snickered at my words then he asked. “Are you willing to do anything I ask?” his eyes narrowed as he stared me down and I swallowed hard.
“Yes.” I replied and his lips formed a thin line as he grinned. I’ve always found his grin seductive but poisonous at the same time. Gavin was a beautiful man but his heart was the ugly part of him and I wondered what madness he was going to push me into this time.
“Okay,” he clasped his hands. “I’ll give you the entire 5 billion your company needs.” He said.
“How... how do you know it’s exactly 5 billion? I was only going to ask for a loan of 3 billion from you.” I said shocked.
“Baby boy, I did my findings as soon as I saw your first email.” He laughed.
So he did see all my mails. Again, he’s a dick.
“But, if you want something, you seek it out like you seeked me out.” He gave that stupid seduction grin again.
“Just tell me what you want Gavin and I’ll give it. Shares? Lands? Assets? Just name it.” I said already losing my cool but he just sat there as he laughed.
“I don’t want those useless things. What I want is... entertainment.” He stressed the words.
Entertainment? What the hell was he talking about?
He suddenly pointed at the pole one of the girls were using to serenade him earlier.
“Dance!” were his exact words.
    “Dance!” “Dance? Me? You must be fucking crazy Gavin.” I said unrestrained. He was out of his mind. Do I look like a stripper that I’d start dancing on a pole to entertain some sick bastard because of money? I was a business man, and we make deals. “Are you refusing? His words were harsh this time. “Hell yes I’m refusing. And fuck you Gavin!” I cussed again as I headed for the door angrily. “Know that if you walk out, I’ll never let you approach me again, and I’ll make sure no one lends you the money. But if you dance for me, I won’t lend you the money, but I’ll give it to you as a gift.” He threatened and I stopped in my heels. I asked, my voice rising in outrage. “I assume your are not deaf.” He hissed. I couldn’t believe my ears. “Why? Why did you sell it?” I asked angrily. But he just shrugged. "We needed the money to bail Jaxon out of jail." I was beyond furious. "You sold mom's family heirloom to bail out your mistress's son?" This was the limit. I was done. He didn’t even look a bit remorseful. "What's the big deal, Logan? It's just a piece of jewelry." I was appalled. "Just a piece of jewelry?" I repeated, my voice raising. "That necklace had been in mom’s family for generations. It was mom's most treasured possession." Dad snorted. "You're so sentimental Logan. You need to learn to prioritize what's truly important."     My frown deepened as I took in Stephen’s appearance. He was dressed in a tailored suit, his hair slicked back to reveal a smug expression. He had a naughty glint in his eye, and I knew that he only spelt trouble. He was a rich entitled brat that has been on my neck since forever. Just a jealous twat after my business, but mostly my peace of mind. "Good to see you Logan," Stephen said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I didn't know you were into auctions." I narrowed my eyes, my instincts on high alert. "I'm just here for a specific item," I said trying to keep my cool. Stephen's grin widened. "Oh, I think I know what that item might be, And I think I might just have to bid against you." My eyes locked onto his, a spark of anger igniting within me. “You don’t have to be a prick every goddamn time.” I hissed annoyed and he chuckled as he neared me.     Panic set in at once as I heard those words. I got out of my pajamas and into an ordinary outfit as I hurried out of my suite. But he was still my father, the only real family I have left, and I didn’t want anything to happen to him. I arrived the hospital and got out of the car swiftly, I ran fast and skidded to a halt in front of the hospital, my breath coming in ragged gasps.     I stumbled back, knocking over Peter's shot from his hands with a clatter. He stared at me, his face a mixture of concern and confusion."Logan what's wrong?"I ignored him, my gaze frantically searching the room. "Keys," I demanded, my voice hoarse. "Car keys, where is it?”Peter hesitated, his brow furrowed. "Sir are you alright? What's going on?""Just give me the damn keys!" I snapped, my patience wearing thin.“I’m sorry but I cannot do that. You seem drunk and.....”I turned around, ignoring him as I strode towards the exit, leaving him confused.I burst out of the bar, the cool night air doing little to calm my racing heart.     The intensity in Gavin's eyes was almost suffocating, sucking out every breath from my lungs. Surely that’s one hell of a way to teach a first timer how to give a blow job. I stumbled back, needing to put some distance between us and he released me, I watched mesmerized, as his long slender fingers expertly undid the knot of his robe, the silken fabric dropping down from over his broad shoulders and down his legs, exposing his huge and erect cock.   • HIS TO CONQUER    Happily Ever After!
    ~ Logan’s POV ~My heart was practically tap dancing in my chest. It was today. Today was the day. My wedding day. My wedding with Gavin. A silly, goofy grin felt permanently plastered to my face, and every time I looked in the mirror, it just widened.Peter had been surprisingly invested. I still remember his dramatic sigh when I first mentioned needing a suit, only for him to drag me to some ridiculously expensive boutique three weeks ago to get suits. "Darling you need to look royal," he complained as he picked up fabrics. In the end, he chose a dark blue suit that actually made me look… well, royal. He said going for white was too basic. And this morning, he was here earlier, buzzing around my hotel room like an over caffeinated hummingbird."Logan, for the love of all that is holy, are you even dressed yet?" he shrieked, barging in for the tenth time in the last hour. "The ceremony starts in an hour! Gavin's already there, probably a nervous wreck, and you're still fiddling wit
  • HIS TO CONQUER    My favourite meal!
    It’s been a few months now and I must say, it has been the happiest for me. Peter had, quite simply, moved in. Or rather, I hadn't let him leave. The house felt hollow without his easy laughter, and the mornings dull without the aroma of his coffee brewing. Even the incessant meows of his three ridiculously fluffy cats, had become a comforting soundtrack to my days. They had taken quite a liking to me too, much to Peter’s amusement who thought they wouldn’t like me, especially Claws. They would often choose to nap on my lap while I tried to work on my laptop.Our days were so comfortable. I still went to the office, the pressures of work feeling somehow lighter knowing Peter would be waiting for me at home. He would often text me throughout the day, sending silly memes or asking about my progress even while still at work. Evenings were the best. Sometimes, I would come home to the tantalizing smell of something delicious Peter had whipped up in the kitchen. He genuinely loved to cook,
    My jaw clenched as my damn phone started ringing, tearing me away from the warmth of Peter's embrace. Reluctantly, I pulled back as I answered the call."What?" I snapped curtly without even checking the caller ID."Sir," my secretary's voice said through the speaker. She sounded troubled too. "I just received a call.. your father is..well his health has deteriorated significantly. You need to come home immediately."I was quiet for a while as I processed the information."I'm on my way," I finally managed, I hung up without another syllable.Peter's brow was furrowed with concern, his hand reaching out to gently touch my arm. "What is it Alex? What's wrong?""It's my father. His condition… it's gotten worse. I have to go.""I'll come with you," Peter said immediately, I shook my head because there was no way I was going to allow that. "No Peter. You can't. You don't understand… my father… he's… vehemently homophobic. It won't be pleasant if he..."But Peter's jaw was set stubbornly
  • HIS TO CONQUER    He's back!
    ~ Alexander’s POV ~It’s been fourteen agonizing days since the light had been stolen from Peter’s eyes. It felt like an eternity, a cruel suspension of time where the only constant thing was the fear that his eyes might never open again. Everything else became so insignificant to me. The company, deals, every single thing, I abandoned it all, and I was basically living in the hospital. I felt alien to anything else but the beeping of the machines that kept Peter’s fragile body alive.I didn’t want him to remain in the public ward so I had him moved swiftly to a private hospital, two weeks ago in a VIP ward, where the best doctors and nurses could attend to him. Every morning, I would arrive before dawn to watch over him. I would gently bathe him, clean him careful around the bandages. Then I would comb his messy hair. I didn’t want the nurses to do it. I wanted to do it myself. Seeing Peter like this made me so mad and I regretted listening to Gavin’s weak suggestion of dumping Ja
    ~~ TRIGGER WARNING!!! For those who doesn't like torture. I tried to make it less graphic though ~~There was a slow curl of Alex’s lips. It was not a smile, not really, but something far more unsettling. He didn't speak further, just nodded his head towards Marco. Marco in turn immediately barked a series of sharp commands at the other guards. "Get him secured! Set the bastard up!"My gut clenched. A cold dread began to seep into my veins as I watched them move with efficiency. Alex, meanwhile, was on his feet, his gaze dropping to the figure of Jaxon huddled on the floor. There was no pity in his eyes, only disgust. Jaxon was already a mess of whimpers and desperate pleas, his voice cracking with terror as the men descended upon him.Two of them hauled Jaxon up, his limbs flailing uselessly, and dragged him towards a heavy looking iron surface that lay in the center of the room, I didn’t even notice it before. He was laid face down, his body trembling violently against the cold meta
I’m going to do this myself. With my own hands.” His voice was colder now, devoid of any warmth. “Can you handle that?”I stared into the abyss of his eyes, seeing the raw hate that resided there. It was unsettling. I swallowed hard before replying. “Yes,” I finally said, my voice low but resolute. “I can.”Alex nodded, a grim satisfaction flickering across his features. He stood up abruptly. “Let’s go. We need to be back before Peter wakes up.” He started towards the door, then paused, turning back. “Where’s Logan?”I snorted. “I thought you’d never ask.” I told him about Logan’s internal bleeding, the shar
  • HIS TO CONQUER    I want in!
    ~ Gavin’s POV ~The meeting was going well and there were hardly any oppositions to my proposal by the board members. We were deep into the final stages of the presentation for the new tech launch, a project I had poured months of relentless work into. Then my phone buzzed. I saw it was Logan, then a smile tugged at my lips. Even during boring and nerve wrecking meetings like this, a call from him would always make me so happy.I raised a hand, silencing the presenter mid sentence. “Excuse me for one moment,” I said. The board members exchanged curious glances, but they knew better than to question me. I stepped away from the table, answering the call with a light hearted, “Hey love. Everything alright?”The voice that came through the receiver was anything but alright. I couldn’t hear anything but sobs and incoherent words. My smile vanished immediately replaced by a frown. “Logan! Logan, calm down. I can’t understand you. What’s wrong?” My voice was sharp with urgency. All I could
My legs felt like lead, but I stumbled after them, my vision swimming with unshed tears, with the taste of my own blood still thick in my mouth.“He needs immediate surgery! Trauma one!” a voice barked, it was sharp and urgent. They disappeared behind another set of swinging doors, as another shouted.“Intensive Care Unit.” I followed after them but a nurse, placed a firm hand on my chest, stopping me from following. “Sir, you can’t go in there. I shouldn’t be here alone with him. He grinned, as his eyes were bloodshot. “I have been trying to reach my dear little brother for weeks now. But your precious Peter has been quite the effective gatekeeper, hasn’t he?”My gaze flickered downwards, no wonder I haven’t been getting those weird text.
