Apprehension

Asher closed his eyes as they had begun to strain due to looking at the screen for too long. He was almost done with the presentation to give to their potential investors tomorrow. He was more than aware that Davies was taking advantage of his young age and overworking him but instead of getting annoyed by it, Asher took it in its stride. This extra hard work was only polishing up his business skills. He had his plans. Once he had enough money and knowledge, he would start something of his own. There was no dearth of ideas in his brilliant mind. After the final touch-up, he would leave for home. Davies had asked him to join him for a drink. Asher usually took him up on his offer as it allowed him to build connections with movers and shakers of the business world but tonight he had no energy left to fake smiles and touch sweaty hands.
