I want my babies!

Liam drove into his compound directly and walked into his house, where Eric was seated calmly waiting for him. He was still Liam's lawyer even after a long time.

"Good evening, Mr Jordans." He greeted, still professionally.

"Eric, please." Liam said and Eric laughed slowly as Liam took his seat opposite him.

"There's something I need to confirm urgently, Eric." Liam said without wasting time and explained the whole scenario to Eric. Eric looked shocked for a long time after listening to every single word.

"Do you mean to say that Alexa has two kids for you?" He asked after everything.

"Yes, Eric. I can't believe she didn't let me know about my kids." Liam muttered slowly.

"So what are you planning to do right now?" Eric asked.

"What else? Of course, I want to be able take care of my children." Liam said quickly and Eric sighed.

"I'm afraid that might not be possible. Have you tried talking to Alexandra yet? If she agrees, then it's all good. If she doesn't, you can't take the children into your possession. She had the children after you guys divorced, how sure are you that those are even your children?" Eric asked and Liam looked angry.

"Alexa is not one to play games." He said sternly and Eric nodded biting his lips slowly.

"I'm very sure Miss Chapman won't allow you take possession of her children." Eric said. Lima was about to respond when his phone suddenly rang and seeing Doreen as the ID, he immediately picked up.

"Hello."

"Good evening, Mr Jordans." Doreen greeted lightheartedly.

"She said no right?" Liam went straight to the point.

"Actually, she said yes." Doreen chuckled.

"What?" Liam's eyes widened.

"She wants to have breakfast with you by two pm tomorrow. I really hope she signs the proposal. I think maybe she gave it a second thought." Doreen said and Liam pursed his lips, thinking for a while.

"I doubt that, Doreen but thank you anyways." He said and ended the call before turning to Eric slowly.

"Alexandra wants to meet." He said.

"Good morning, Miss Chapman." The doctor greeted with a warm smile as Alexandra walked in with Jade.

"Good morning, doc." She greeted back, taking her seat.

"Okay, Jade. Let's see, how are you feeling today?" The doctor said, helping Jade get on the bed.

"I'm fine and the pain isn't there any longer." Jade replied smartly.

"I know, right? But we have to take care of it, so it won't leave a scar." He said and started unwrapping her bandage to apply some ointment.

After the session with the doctor, Alexandra proceeded to her car with Jade.

"Mom, do I still have to go to school today?" She asked slowly, hoping her mom would say no.

"But Jace's in school, do you want to leave him all by himself?" Alexa asked. Jade didn't want to go to school but she also knew Jace didn't have any friends at the moment.

"I'll go then." She pouted.

"Good girl." Alexa muttered, scattering her daughter's hair a little.

"Mom!!" Jade frowned.

"Alexa?" Alexa stopped hearing a very familiar voice call her name and sure enough, when she turned back, it was Antonia, Liam's mother.

Alexa bit her lips slowly suddenly feeling bad.

"I can't believe you left without saying a word, Alexa?" Antonia said as she stared at Alexa intensely, sighing deeply afterwards.

"It was sudden, mom.." Alexa suddenly stopped, realizing mom wasn't the word for her anymore since they were no longer related and Antonia noticed that.

"So you can't call me mother any longer? Since you are not with Liam? I'm disappointed." She smiled faintly as she said that.

"It's not that. You'll forever be a mother to me. I just hope you weren't going to get angry if I called you mother, afterall I left without informing you." Alexa explained.

"That's not even the problem, I knew things were not going on fine in your marriage and I also knew Liam was the one who brought about the divorce, I'm still angry with him for that. But Alexandra, you should have at least told me everything that was happening. I wasn't even able to contact you, do you know how scared I was, until I called your mother and she told me you were fine, though she refused to give me your contact." Antonia sighed slowly and Alexa bit her lips tightly.

"I couldn't endure it, Liam went back to Stella, she cheated on him and he still went back to her, then asked me to divorce him." She said.

"He wasn't being fair." She added and Antonia sighed, stretching her hands to hold Alexa's.

"If you still need anything from me, I'll be right here, okay?" She said affectionately and Alexa nodded with a smile.

"By the way, who's that pretty baby?" Antonia asked, staring at Jade who kept tapping on her mom's phone without paying attention to their conversation.

"That's my daughter, Jade." Alexa replied and Antonia smiled faintly, nodding her head.

"Wow, can't believe you have a daughter, Alexa. Liam hasn't even remarried yet." She muttered slowly as she sipped her drink. They were in a restaurant not too far from the hospital.

Alexa smiled , hearing Antonia's comment and she wondered how the woman would feel if she found out she was Jade's grandmother.

"She's a very pretty girl." Antonia gave another comment, staring at Jade intensely. The little girl resembled her mother a lot, she thought. Though she felt a little bit sad that Alexa had remarried and given birth to a pretty little girl, she couldn't possibly expect her to stay single after all this time and finding a person to spend the rest of her life with lovingly could be compensation for the way Liam had hurt her. So she felt very happy for Alexa and continued chatting away, passing time.
