The Vixen

After spending a lot of time with Antonia, Alexa remembered it was almost time for the meeting with Liam and she suddenly felt bad again. She was chatting so freely with his mother but was going to be so cold to him. He deserved it though, a jerk like him doesn't even have the right to talk to her.

She took Jade to her office first and instructed Doreen to take her home after picking Jace from school, also promising to give her a little extra tip.

"Okay, are you ready to go meet Liam?" Cassidy asked on the phone as Alexa prepared to go downstairs.

"Yeah." Alexa muttered with a sigh.

"Alexa, make sure to make him feel a lot of regret for loosing you. You have to dress provocatively, okay?"

"Why do I have to put in effort because I'm going to see Liam?" Alexa asked as she applied her nude lipstick and smacked her lips together lightly.

"Why do I have to put in effort because I'm going to see Liam?" Cassidy mimicked funnily and laughed.

"Then why are you applying more lipstick?" She asked and Alexa blinked.

"I didn't apply more lipstick, I only..."

"I can hear you smacking your lips, girl. Also change your clothes, by the way. Wear something red or black." Cassidy interrupted.

"Why?"

"Red and black look very sexy on you. You should turn heads, baby gurl." Cassidy chuckled on the phone and Alexa rolled her eyes, entering the elevator.

"I can't believe you, Cass. You are practically asking me to seduce him, which is out of my plans." She said.

"Plans or not, Alexa? You need to make Liam regret what he's done, okay? If he still likes you, that's even better and easier. If he doesn't, simply make him fall for you and then, boom, break his heart like he did yours." Cassidy hissed on the other side.

"Okay. I'll listen to you." Alexa said, trying to drop the topic.

"I know you won't." Cassidy replied and sighed deeply.

"Whatever, Alexa. Just make sure to keep that guy out of my sight. If I mistakenly see him, I won't care at all if he's Mr Jordans of the sky, I'll burst his balls." She sneered and ended the call, before Alexa could say another one.

"What..." Alexa sighed hearing the beeping sound. She flung her bag into the car and got in, driving out of the company's compound immediately.

It was almost three pm when Alexa got to the designates restaurant where Liam had booked a spot. He had been waiting for her for almost an hour and assumed she wasn't going to come any longer when she suddenly stepped into the VIP room.

"Alexandra..." He stood up slowly, staring at her, mesmerized by her glowing beauty. Alexa gave a warm smile to the waiters in the room as she practically cat walked towards her seat.

Liam quickly drew the chair opposite him backwards so she could seat, then he went ahead to take his own seat. The day of the party, he didn't see her very clearly since he was in a shock and it was also a little bit dark but right now, he could see, eyes widely open, how much Alexa had changed within the space of some years.

"Alexandra..."

"I'm really sorry Mr Jordans for coming late, I hope you are not offended?" Alexandra interrupted in a professional tone, rather coldly though as she took the menu, opening it slowly.

"I'll have pasta and steak." She said to the waiter, handing him the book.

"Same thing, please." Liam said quickly, not bothering to check the menu at all.

"And a bottle of wine." He added, right before the waiter left.

"I'm not annoyed, Alexa. I'm just really happy to have a chance to talk to you." He smiled.

"Why are you speaking so casually to me?" Alexa asked and Liam's smile disappeared immediately.

"What?"

"I mean. You keep on calling my name as if we've met before." She said and Liam blinked slowly.

"What are you saying?" He muttered, confused.

"I can't remember us meeting before the night of the party, no?" She asked.

"Alexandra." He stretched his hands forward and she removed her hands completely from the table immediately.

"Actually, I only accepted your request to lunch since I felt bad for rejecting your proposals so many times and I'll also like to tell you not to send any more proposals as you'll be wasting your time." She said and picked her bag.

"It was nice meeting you, Mr Jordans and thank for the lunch. I hope we don't get to meet again." She stood up slowly.

"Wait, Alexa...Miss Chapman." Liam also stood up immediately.

"Just give me a chance to explain everything. No... give me a chance to apologize for everything. I know I hurt you deeply, Alexa but please just forgive me. I'll act better from now on. All I need is just one chance." He said desperately.

"I don't understand what you are trying to say, Mr Jordans. But I'll like to quickly chip in this before I leave, don't have any contact with my children again." She said seriously and stared at him intensely.

"I don't know what I'll do if I see you near them, Liam."

"They are my children too." Liam replied.

"You can't keep them away from me." He added slowly.

"I've done that successfully for five years and I'll do so till they become adults. Please respect my decisions and never..show your face in my life again. I'm not the Alexandra you knew before, Liam. This time around, I'm a Vixen." She smirked before walking out.

"Alexan....." Liam bit his lips and fisted his hands tightly, hitting it on the desk afterwards.

"Please..." He muttered.
