Chapter 25

Alpha Jason appeared to grow even more livid at Caleb’s words which seemed to make him finally notice my presence. His hand that had been on Caleb’s neck suddenly tightened around it before lifting him up and smashing him into the wall.

My legs finally gave out and I fell to my knees. The tray left my hands and shattered into pieces on the ground. Only then did I break out of the trance I seemed to have fallen under. Tears sprang to my eyes as I scrambled for the pieces. Why did i opt to use the Alpha’s favorite set? Now I’ve broken it. i sobbed as I packed up the pieces of the tray. Luckily, it was the only thing that broke and the rest of the china were still intact. They had probably been cradled by the broken tray.

“Amber.” I heard Alpha Jason call. His voice was lower than I had ever heard it. I shivered.

“I’m so sorry Alpha. I didn’t mean to break this. I’m so sorry.” I cried, my hands shaking. I didn’t even notice they were bleeding before. My blood was now dripping
