LANDON'S POV
I sat at the bar, nursing a drink and lost in thought. I came to The Barnes at least three times a week, it was my go-to spot to unwind after a long day. I kept coming even when Olivia was back at school and definitely try to come around now that she was back. As I gazed into my glass, I heard the door swing open and a familiar voice called out to the young bartender.
I turned to see Alex walking towards the bar, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on me. A look of surprise crossed his face, and he changed direction, making his way towards me instead of the end of the bar.
"Landon! I didn't know you came here," Alex said, taking a seat next to me.
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his surprise.
