Why did she pass out? She hadn't felt like she was exhausted. She had tried to get back into the normal groove of her old life. It felt like just maybe her old life no longer suited her. She changed into the white cotton gown and got back in the bed. She felt fine at the moment. Rosa had left and she heard her husbands footsteps along with someone else. The bedroom door opened and it was her Doctor and Bradley.
He smiled at her. Seeing that she was awake he rushed over to her side.
“Darling, I'm so glad you're awake. I’ve brought Dr. Thompson.”
Dr. Katherine Thompson was 5’9, of a slender build, with long blonde hair that she wore in a bun. She had a kind face and a warm voice.

The next few days for Elayna were boring to say the least. She stayed at their home. Even though their home was considered a mansion she was confined to Bradley’s Suite for the majority of her days. She was allowed to walk the premises one hour a day. The control he had on her was worse than before. It had become stifling. Bradley was never far away and made sure to give her magazines that had their faces plastered on them with salacious headlines like: “Elayna is home! Her grandmother use to always say you love who you love. She finally understood what she meant by that. Even though her love had been for her husband now it had fully blossomed and turned into something better with Nick. Dinner had been uneventful and she kept having to turn down drinks from her husband’s business associates, even though she had told them she was pregnant. She of course reminded him as politely as possible each time. By the 4th time she decided to excuse herself to the ladies room.
