Chapter 137

Sonnet was standing at least seven to eight meters away from the building. If the vase had fallen due to natural causes, it’s impossible that it fell so far away from the building.

“I’ll come along with you,” she told Lewis in a heavy voice.

They found the owners of the properties nearby the building and looked through the surveillance camera recordings. However, they could not find the person that had thrown the vase down the building.

Perhaps there were too many buildings in the area. They could not be sure which floor the vase had been thrown off from. Therefore, it was even harder to find the culprit.

On the way back home, Sonnet told Lewis, “Don’t tell Mr. Blake about everything that happened today!”

Lewis nodded and said, “I understand.”

At night, Maxwell and Lewis met up in the study while Sonnet was showering in the bathroom.

“Does that mean that someone has been intentionally trying to hurt Sonnet?” Maxwell’s expression darkened as he asked Lewis icily.
